plot: waking up next to dojoon
you opened your eyes slowly, trying to adjust to the sudden light that came through your window. feeling disoriented and groggy, you tossed to your right, in search of your boyfriend. when your gaze met his body, you had to pinch yourself to make sure that you were not dreaming; this looked straight out of a fairytale. his bare back was exposed to the golden rays of sun that penetrated the room and made his skin shine with a warm tone of orange, looking as soft and beautiful as ever. his lips were slightly parted and his nose took in calm deep breaths, which made his chest and back expand every couple of moments. his hair - which was usually parted in the middle - was now resting over his forehead, covering his closed eyes and protecting them from the source of your awakening. park dojoon looked at peace. it was a stunning sight.
when you decided to go to the kitchen and surprise him with breakfast, you positioned yourself in order to get out of bed, but you felt a pair of arms wrapping around your waist and pulling you into his warmth, wrapping you with him until your bodies were pressed together. his arms were tied strongly around you, and soon enough you turned around in order to face him, only to find a pair of sleepy eyes giving you the sweetest look, the corners of his pink lips curving, a small smile slowly appearing drawn on his face. you buried your face in his chest, feeling his heartbeat against you and surrounding his body with your own arms, holding him even closer to you and inhaling his lavender scent. you felt yourself falling back asleep due to the feeling of safety between his arms, when you heard a husky voice mutter something in your ear.
and just then everything was still. you had heard that phrase a million times before, and you knew he meant it every single one of them. right there, you were safe. you stayed like that, just for a while, holding each other as close as you could as the purest demonstration of love.
note: 1) this is the first drabble i write
2) it’s almost 5 am and idk why i’m doing this my 2 braincells are not functioning well rn apparently
and 3) i’m NOT a writer this is the first thing i write that counts as and “imagine” or a “fanfic” but i saw a lot of people asking for tr fics and i thought why not ? so idk if i’ve portrayed this the right way but pls let me know how to improve <3
