Supposed to be dead. || Kyle & Zitao
"What happened to you.." Zitao whispered as he saw how the male stumbled back, as if he was a wild and scared animal. Abused and battered and dirty and cold. "Look at you Kyle, you look awful.” He let out a sigh. “Do you have a home?” He asks “Have you eaten? When was the last time you showered?” He presses his lips together and rummages through his bag, retrieving a bottle of orange juice and a chocolate bar. “Do you want this?” He offers, holding the two items in front of him.
Whatever happened to his old friend it fucked him up pretty badly and Zitao felt bad about it, wanting to help his friend. “I am Zitao, we used to be buddies.” He said softly “It is okay, I won’t hurt you, okay? You don’t have to remember, just trust me. Do you trust me?” He asks carefully, wondering what the other had taken to be this far gone (even if Kyle denied taking drugs he still thought that was most likely).
The alien placed the items on the ground and did a few steps back. “You can have the food and orange juice if you want.” He says, sitting down, trying to be as non-threatening as he could (since Kyle acted like a wild and hurt animal, Zitao tried to act like he would an animal).
"Die... Kyle die..." He mutters softly, eyes unfocused and staring upon the ground. The silence that befalls is almost perpetual, long fingers pinching absentmindedly at the ragged scars round one of his wrists, specifically the left, as his nails leave little crescent markings which flush red when pulled away.
He knows he is supposed to take a kind offering when it is given, but Kyle cannot help his initial reaction to shrink back, to try and become smaller. He has realized that he is an easy target for thieves and misled teenagers, and people have harmed him in the past, but never physically.
"Food..." He has not eaten in days, and the offering is not something he can resist any longer. He reaches forwards carefully, crouching on the ground as he carefully retrieves the items. He opens the juice and drinks it quickly, then unwrapping and devouring the chocolate bar.
When he is finished, he looks up at Zitao with a soft smile.
"Kyle feel better..."
Zitao - alien - stuck on earth
It is the year 1947, the ship of the alien crashed into earth. Zitao flees, leaving not only the shipwreck but also the only two people he can consider family behind. He switches from alliance, from what is seen as evil to an excuse of what is good. Here his new life begins

Supposed to be dead. || Kyle & Zitao
-
He was breathing alright, but living seemed to be almost a challenge as Kyle slowly spoke in an incomplete sentence. Zitao froze on the spot, watching the male with doubt in his eyes. “Did the weed do this to you?” he mumbled, not even really asking Kyle but more wondering about the fragility of a human body. “Yeah- Kyle Spencer.” He confirms worried.
"You don’t remember me buddy?" Zitao starts slowly and takes one step closer, narrowing his eyes and wondering what it is that makes this whole situation seem a bit eerie. “You don’t look too swell Kyle, and you used to be really a catch. What happened to you?” He asked, eyes darting over the other’s body, clothing and hair. “You look like you played in the mud and didn’t shower afterwards, have you been doing drugs?” He frowned “Have you started doing hard drugs buddy? I told you not to, remember?”
But if Kyle didn’t remember him, he most certainly didn’t remember what he had advised him that long ago. “Kyle… I read… in the newspaper… well you know.” He shrugged “I tried calling you, texting and stuff too, but it never got picked up- I really thought-..”
Zitao bit his bottom lip, not finishing his sentence. Kyle looked, sort of, dead.
I read in the newspaper... well, you know.
Death.
His eyes shoot open wide, pupils black and too large in light hazel eyes. It's a cold, dark place... Kyle remember that well enough. It's far too unfortunate that he is hindered by the inability to process speech from his brain past his lips, as if his vocal chords are unwilling to form the sentences that need so desperately to be conveyed.
Memories of too-loud bass and dimly lit rooms float back through a haze, because it's an incomplete puzzle and he's still trying to figure himself out. He's trying, though, and that's what counts. so he narrows his eyes and tries his best to remember Zitao.
"No... Remem... Remember..." He stumbles over his words, confusion and fear flickering in those eyes half-hidden by his overgrown hair. The tip of his nose is flushed red from the cold, and both cheeks are a sickly pale. His eyes are red-rimmed, and to top it off, he's stick-thin.
"Drug... Not drug... Not know... Who... Who you.." When Zitao takes a step forwards, Kyle takes one back-- he doesn't remember this man right now, and the advance is a little intimidating. It's as if Kyle does not realize his own size and he swipes clumsily at the air with a large hand.
"Not... Know..." He's different. His eyes are wild.
All the blogs I follow appear to know eachother on a first name basis, I feel like an awkward 223rd wheel or something.
Send me "I want to spend Christmas with you" for my muses reaction
