Ryland's always been the guy to keep a wall up in his relationships. It's a little tougher to do when his best friend shares his brain now.

Many months ago I scrapped the original ending of 'The Astrobiology Immersion Program' and rewrote it. Then I kicked the original around and tinkered with it for fun. Now it's so long it's a health hazard in my Google Docs. I had a lot of kind comments about this fic and I was really touched by how many people seemed to enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it, so I thought a few people might want to see this much stranger, much longer version of the ending!
