I personally think the characters in JJK suffer from same face syndrome. They also all have straight hair, it’s not even funny. As much as I love the animation and music I feel that the story is a bit rushed and struggles to give impactful themes other than death. They set up many things when it comes to brothers though fail to give it an integral role. It is played of more for humor than adding a connection to the characters and their struggles.
For me Gojo, Choso, and Yuta are my favorite characters.
I felt so underwhelmed when Gojo died. It was such a let down narratively because of the amazing parallels he and Yuji working together could have been next to Sakuna and Megumi. Gojo and Yuji lifting each other up while Sukuna tries to put Megumi in despair.
I dislike when animes have to much filler but it wouldn’t have hurt to add more substance. Have other characters go through arcs, letting other curses and techniques shine. Go to other countries for missions and see how curses come about in different ways. How culture and environments affect their appearance and power.
For my rewrite Gojo was seen as a lesser man to his clan, due to being a very mixed child and having a genetic mutation. Though once they found out he is the strongest of their clan, fearing that he may end up like Toji, they decided to get on his good side. This led to Gojo growing up pampered and praised by everyone in the clan and Jujustu society. Until he met Geto and Nanami who didn’t get what the big deal was for and became unlikely friends.
