The other day in Petsmart, I very nearly brought home another Betta. I had the cutest little white and yellow plakat in my cart, along with an extra 2.5 gallon, heater, and thermometer with plans to buy a sponge filter online.
And then I stopped in the middle...
Definitely important to know your limits. Just keep in mind that your own limits are different and unique. kai-ni places their limit at 4 tanks, whereas I easily maintain 18, plus 4 birds, a cat and a ball python. Everyone is different. :-) And working at a pet store definitely solves my money-limit-issue.
