âOh, sorry, I wasnât staring at youâ Sabina told him with a shake of her head. âI was just looking at that woman being rude to her waitress, that always pisses me off. Thereâs no need to freak out the way she is, it isnât the waitresses fault.â She gestured toward the scene unfolding behind him. âThe waitress is still being polite though, so props to her.â
Sabina smirked as she raised her brows, even though he couldnât see the gesture, âOh ok. So you went to a party, didnât invite me, and now want to come over to mine?â The blonde was saying it all in jest, sometimes giving people a âhardâ time was just what she did though it was all in good fun. âAlright, I wouldnât mind the company.â And that was true. Being alone wasnât something that she was fond of these days, especially at night. Plus she knew from experience that hanging out with tipsy Ezra would prove to be a good time. âJust know that when you get here, before I open the door youâll have to say the passphrase. Do you remember what it is?â Of course there wasnât some kind of passcode set in stone, all she was expecting was some kind of cheeky compliment.Â
âTo be fair, it was a pretty lame fuckinâ party. Didnât miss out on much, love. Promise Iâll bring you along with me to a real one soon.â Ezra charmed her, though he was speaking in earnest when he admitted that heâd attended a lame party that evening, one heâd been happy to leave and even happier to have a friend nearby to go to when it all went sour. He had gone out intending to be off his face and have a good night he could barely remember, and sure, maybe his intention had shifted since mentally changing his plans for the night into ones involving her- but only in the sense that he was no longer set on passing out. He wouldnât mind just staying up all night talking with her, if sheâd let him. âI think I do, I think I remember what it is.â He smiled crookedly to himself as he began to cook one up in his mind. Heâd done it a couple of times, come up with some cute or funny compliment to give her that was way over the top when she jokingly demanded he provide the passphrase as an entry fee, and the next one was always sillier than the last. âI can see your light on in the window, be there in a minute.â
âTo be fair thatâs probably because I wasnât there,â Sabina joked with a laugh. âletâs be honest, is it even considered a real party if Iâm not present?â She tried to keep a straight face, even if he couldnât see it, but that hadnât worked as was probably evidenced by the chuckle in her voice. While on the phone, the girl was straightening up around her apartment, packing had led to random items everywhere that she was attempting to organize as she packed them up. âI have confidence that youâll come up with something,â he always had, she knew that much. âIâll see you soon.â Moving into the kitchen, Sabina turned on the oven to heat it up. Sheâd known Ezra long enough to know that it was only a matter of time before he was hungry - that always seemed to accompany drinking. Next she opened the freezer pulling out a frozen pizza that would go into the oven once it was heated.
âOkay, you can stop staring at my face now, Iâm not going to explain what happened to it because itâs mostly not any of your business, but I also donât want to talk about it. So we can talk about something else or you can just walk away.â Oliver said with a shrug, looking over at the person in front of him.
âOh, sorry, I wasnât staring at youâ Sabina told him with a shake of her head. âI was just looking at that woman being rude to her waitress, that always pisses me off. Thereâs no need to freak out the way she is, it isnât the waitresses fault.â She gestured toward the scene unfolding behind him. âThe waitress is still being polite though, so props to her.â
âyou want to be married that bad? i think there actually was a woman who married herself. at least youâd have all the say over everything involving the wedding. like a huge party just for you. could be fun.â
Glancing down at the box in his hand, he scanned over what was contained inside and couldnât help the wide smile that spread across his face. He loved it, obviously, though he was still a little hesitant about accepting something so big and probably expensive from her. âYou should have saved the money and put it towards your new place, babe.â Daxton suggested, glancing over at her with a soft smile meant only for her. âAs if I donât think about you whenever I paint, Sab. Youâre always trying to distract me.â Daxton teased her back, placing the box down on the coffee table in front of them before turning and opening his arms for her, pulling her in and hugging her tight.
A smile grew on her face as she watched him, shaking her head at his suggestion, âIâve already got the first and last months rent and the security deposit put aside. Iâm just waiting for the current resident to move out. Itâs supposed to be the end of the month.â The thought made her glance at the door, silently reminding herself that sheâd be alright, and then she looked at him again ânot always.â usually it was especially when she wanted his attention. âAt least Iâm a fun distraction right?â using her legs that were draped over his legs she scooted in closer onto his lap, returning his hug before planting a kiss on his neck and speaking into his ear, âJust enjoy them ok?â
Logan snorted a laugh shaking his head. âFor a few months maybe, sometimes a year or two but never for a life time. Not that Iâve ever seen.â He argued a little although his voice didnât have the conviction that he desired. âNah, it was pay per round so, sheâs all in the clear. Iâm not an arsehole.â
âI canât really argue with that, most people are pretty shitty unfortunately. And these days it sort of seems like no one knows how to take relationships as seriously as they should be taken so they end terribly.â She shrugged at the thought before laughing lightly, âLogan, you literally texted asking for help instead of just telling her you werenât interested and then left her sitting at the table. Itâs a tad asshole-ish, even if it was warranted.â
Logan laughed again softly, âI donât know why, itâs kind of over-rated if you ask me.â Logan frowned at the thought looking down momentarily at his phone before bringing to back up to his ear. âI fucking hope not, but thanks for putting that thought in my mind.â Logan raised a brow at her sentiment the side of lips lips curling slightly, âEvery one has skeletons, my darling.â
Thinking about her current situation and a situation in her past, she would shrug and nod, even if he wasnât able to see it through the phone, âI guess it can be when it doesnât turn out great. But most of the time its wonderful.â And that would be something typical of Sabina to say. âSorry. Oh believe me, I know. Iâm sure the day will come for me. Are you going to leave that chick with the bill?â
âYeah, mâgood. Just nearby, is all. Went to a party with a friend of mine, he got all fucked up and I wasnât trying to stay the night thereâŚâ Ezra hinted, hoping he was doing a good enough job at getting across what he wanted of Sabina apart from just her company. And that was definitely part of it. The guy heâd gone to the party with wasnât exactly a close friend of his- Ezra mightâve even admitted to himself a few times that their personalities outright clashed and he wasnât sure why he hung out with him or what they truly had in common apart from a shared love of being off their faces. The same wasnât true for him and Sab- she was one of few people in LA he could hang out with completely sober and few comfortable being himself; he felt like their personalities, however different, still meshed well. âYâmind if I walk over to yours?â He tacked on, the crooked smile he was wearing audible in his voice as he added, âBecause mâalready on my way.â
Daxton was well aware that Sabina enjoyed giving gifts, especially to show her gratitude. However, this wasnât necessary - though he was definitely still grateful for the things sheâd got him. Obviously, she didnât need to buy his love and affection - she already had that - and he knew sheâd never use the gifts to do that, but he still worried she thought she needed to get him something in return for him letting her stay here.
âVery well.â The male played along, a cheeky smile on his face as he placed a hand on her leg and squeezed slightly. The gifts were a happy surprise and he genuinely loved them, especially the new lens. Glancing to the side, he pecked her cheek once before focusing back on the box before him. âItâs not that Iâm not happy, I am. You just⌠I let you stay at my place because I wanted you here, you know?â Daxton asked, already ripping open the paper wrapped around the box in his lap. Slowly, as not to damage the things inside, he spun it around and ripped the paper off the other side, gasping when he spotted what sheâd bought. âOh, Sab. This is way, way too much.â
Sabina grinned at his smile, letting her head rest on his shoulder while he worked on opening the next box. The way she figured it, had she not put the money toward the gifts, she likely would have spent it frivolously so at least this way it would be put to good use. âI know,â she reassured him, âAnd I got you gifts because I wanted to. That seems fair to me,â the blonde nodded. âits not too much, itâs all stuff you can use. its not like i spent money on something that would just be tossed in a closet or something,â sabina pointed out to him. âPlus, now everytime you use them you can think of me,â smirking she would poke her tongue out at him.Â
âNever know. Some people are legitimately crazy, theyâll go to any extreme for loooove,â she dragged out the last word with a smirk. âOh the infamous blog. I hope they donât have your phone tapped, then youâd really be in trouble, but I wouldnât put it past them. No my reputation is sparkling and Iâd like to keep it that way.â
In all honesty, she likely would have somehow found a reason to give him a gift no matter what the situation, it was just the way that she was. Not that she would ever look at it as buying someones affection or anything of the like, it honestly was just because she genuinely liked to see people happy.Â
âI am well aware. Thankfully itâs a look that i can carry off wellâ she batted her lashes at him in an over dramatic movement with a chuckle. Scooting over she would rest her chin on his shoulder, âI know you donât need it. I also know you would never just expect it which is exactly why I did it. Itâs just something that I wanted to do and you know that I always get what I want.â She reminded him with a laugh.  âTime to open the next one,â her finger tapped the top of the box that rested on top of her legs.Â
â for my muses reaction to yours bringing them breakfast inbed.
It wasnât the sun shining through the window that causedSabina to shift around, it was the realization that the spot next to her wasvacant. Stretching her limbs, she let out a yawn, her blue orbs just barelyopen until she felt a kiss placed on her neck which heâd discovered early onwas one of her sweet spots. A smile formed on her face as she rubbed her eyesbefore opening them, noticing the tray heâd placed on the bed. âSex andpancakes. How do you always know just what I need?â
â for my muses reaction to your muse getting my musesâ nametattooed on them.
Sabina would be lying if she said that she was surprisedthat Daxton had gotten another tattoo, in a way, she thought of it like beingan art collector. He wanted to collect as many pieces as possible, not tomention that he could carry it off well. It also wasnât unusual for him to beexcited about showing it off. âAlright, letâs see it,â she said as he wentabout unveiling the newly healing ink. Her eyes went wide seeing her namespelled out in permanent ink, it took her a second to find her voice âthatâsâŚ.âshe trailed off briefly before continuing âkind of amazing!â
Ⲡfor mymuse showing your muse their new tattoo of your muses name.
Well, there was no turning back now. Not that she wouldâvechanged her mind anyway. The buzz of that tattoo needle definitely provided arush, now she could finally understand why people couldnât usually stop at justone. Rolling down the waistband of her pants she would show off the ink on herhip, âI figured I could return the favorâŚâ she told him with a nod. âThe way Ithink of it, theyâre more like a pinky promiseâ a smile grew on her lips as shenodded again. Sure a much more permanent pinky promise, but they were supposedto be permanent anyway.
⤠for my muses reaction to finding yours in a hospital bed.
Sabina typically had a pretty good handle on her emotions, exceptin situations like this where she felt absolutely helpless. She was doing herbest to keep them in check though, mostly because she knew that her being upsetwould likely upset him and that was a chain reaction she didnât want to start. Her chair was situated by the head of the bed, her fingers moving through hishair in a soothing motion âthe doctor said youâll probably get releasedsometime tomorrow so thatâs a good thing right? Do you need anything? Just saythe word.â
â for my muses reaction to waking up in a hospital bed andfinding yours asleep in the chair beside them.
To say that her head felt groggy was an understatement, andeven though she felt exhausted, her body was still somewhat restless causingher to toss and turn. With every movement, a silent wince followed. Letting outa sigh, Sabina would glance around the room her eyes adjusting to the darknessand settling on the familiar form in the chair. Although a fond smile formed onher lips she would reach over to tap his leg âheyâŚyou know that chair is goingto kill your back, you can go home and get some sleep. Promise im not going totry to break out of hereâŚâ
â for my muses reaction to seeing them as your muses phonewallpaper.
It was a quiet night in for the pair, as they passed aspliff back and forth between them, the smoke creating a hazy and relaxedenvironment. It also inevitably created a need for food and as Dax grabbed hisphone to put an order in, Sabina got a look at his homescreen. A wide grin settledon her lips, âdid you set me as your wallpaper? Thatâs seriously one of thehighest compliments out there.â
â for my muses reaction to accidentally slamming your museshand in the door.
After grocery shopping, Sabina was bringing all of the bagsinside with Dax holding the door open. As she made her way in with the last setof bags, her foot was used to kick the door shut behind her, being that herhands were full. It wasnât until he yelped that she turned around to see whathappened, âShit, Dax, Iâm sorry! I wasnât thinking.â Setting the bag down shegrabbed a pack of frozen vegetables that sat on top and held it on his hand. âAreyou ok? Will a blow job fix it?â
â for my muses reaction to finding a cute love note fromyour muse. (bonus points: tell me what the note says)
On rare occasion, Sabina had absolutely nothing planned andwas going to lounge about the house most of the day, she actually felt a bitbad about the fact that Dax had to be up and out for a meeting. Making her wayinto the kitchen to get something to drink, a note on the counter caught hereye. Raising a brow she walked over and picked it up:
        Sab,thanks for being you.
PS-maybeyou are innocent, sometimes. By sometimes I mean when only youâre sleeping.
Unfolding the second piece of paper, she revealed a drawingheâd done of her sleeping soundly. Picking up her phone sheâd text him, â yourtalent still astounds meâ
â for my muse to get nervous on a plane and seek comfortfrom your muse.
Sabina was in a silent panic. Yes, sheâd flown before butshe hadnât ever really been a fan of it. Her feet were tapping quickly underher as she leaned back in the airplane seat. It was clear that she was nervousbut she didnât want to put any bad energy out there to make it worse byactually saying it out loud. Soon enough she felt his arm around her, urgingher head onto his shoulder before his free hand entwined with hers, giving it areassuring squeeze.
â for my muses reaction to getting hit with a snowballthrown by your muse.
Snow wasnât something either of them had seen lately, as theweather in California was typically sunny and warm. Theyâd flown to the eastcoast though, because Sabinaâs Aunt Karen requested Daxâs photography skillsfor her holiday photos. As they wrapped up the shoot and her family made theirway inside, Sabina was taken aback by the cold wet snowball that hit her squarein the face. âYou are so dead,â running full force sheâd tackle him to theground, taking a handful of snow and returning the favor.
Logan was striding down the street his jacket being held one over shoulder, his phone held to his ear as he listened to the girl laugh on the other side. âOh well thanks for that. I hope it works, sheâd be crazy to call me after that.â He huffed with a small laugh, âbut now half of LA think I have an STD and then gave it to you, so.â
âSome people are crazy, unless she wants some kind of permanent reminder of you, you should be safe,â she told him with a laugh. âDont worry thatâs not information that theyâll remember in like...five minutes. Unless someone got you on video and posts it online. But pft they donât know who I am. Good thing I did this over the phone instead of stomping in there in personâ
