Oh noes, the gang got chased by the bad guy into the museum’s Relic Room!
What’s a ‘relic room,’ you ask? Good question!
According to the show, it’s a reeeaaally big room, and it holds three types of exhibits:
1. Some kind of early steam train car
2. Two gigantic novelty leafs
3. A vintage plane stocked with fuel that can be turned on with one button and has no steering whatsoever
Scooby and Shaggy fly a long way down the ol’ Relic Room in that plane, and– oh, look, in the background! It’s another steam train car!
And yet another! Apparently, relic rooms need a lot of these.
I mean, Scoob & Shag are still going in the same direction, so these must all be different, yet identical steam train cars.
Can you imagine being a normal patron at this museum? You’re just, like, touring around, and then you wander into this room.
“Honey, what’s with this relic room?”
"Beats me. Why are there 8 steam train cars, and 8 sets of oversized novelty leafs?”
“I’m not even sure those things qualify as relics, actually.”
“And why are they evenly spaced 200 feet apart, with nothing in-between?”
“Wouldn’t there be, like… other kinds of relics a museum would want to have? Artifacts and such?”
“Humph. See, honey, I told you this was a terrible vacation idea. Cartoon museums are always a waste of time.”
