Look I don't think Supergirl (2026) is secretly a perfect masterpiece or anything (I personally thought it was like. a 6/10 fun time) but I do think it's wild that Tumblr isn't going crazy for it because this Kara is one coattailed suit away from being a Tumblr sexyman. she is the flawed messy female character people have supposedly been clamouring for. she's the popular archetype of a gruff self-destructive alcoholic middle-aged man begrudgingly having to look after a kid and growing fond of them but genderswapped and also 23. she's allowed to be visibly messy and kind of gross and her hair is constantly all over the place and she literally cries, screams, throws up, and pisses onscreen. she's caustic and mean and puts up an act of carelessness but has a heart of gold. she's heavily traumatised and coping with it terribly. if anything happens to her dog she will kill everyone in this room and then herself. she spends most of the movie in a trench coat and baggy band T-shirt. she gets into bar brawls and breaks a guy's hand. she is Going Through It 24/7 and looks the part. she stabs a guy in the throat. how is everyone else not obsessed with her.

This has been my main argument against "AI" from the very beginning.

OpenAI scraped the entire web. All of which had been a labor of love from humans. Wikipedia is the backbone of a lot of LLMs, and that was volunteer human labor. They stole it and now they're selling it back to us.

And worse, they're trying to destroy the free sources that they stole from. It's destruction of human knowledge on an unprecedented scale. The burning of the library of Alexandria has nothing on this.

Its just random nonsense from when i was like 15, i just wanted a tag that would be available on everything. I found out I can see what my old usernames were when i was troubleshooting it and "'sadfestiveunicorns was apparently a runner up which does NOT have the same ring to it ngl

2. Latest Movie? What did you think?

Supergirl! Honestly I didn't really like it, I was so hype for it bc I loved Superman but ughhh let me know if anyone wants to hear my thoughts I will make a separate post lol

I took too long to post this and also saw disclosure day which I thought was a lil too long but Emily Blunt was fantastic and ofc Josh O'Connor is always amazing (I do wish they did more with him tho)

3. What are you looking forward to right now?

I am planning a trip to the river with a couple friends and we're gonna spend the day doing crafts and swimming which will be rlly fun, we just went a week or so ago and it was great.

4. If you could do anything at all today, what would it be?

Honestly I really want to find my copy of hidden pictures and read those last 60 pages but a little elf must have stolen my copy

5. Drink of choice?

I'm pretty obsessed with energy drinks, right now my favorite is celsius energy I'm drinking a kiwi strawberry one right now.

6. Hair routine?

Honestly I'm kinda basic I just shampoo it, condition, and that's about it lol. I'm hoping to dye it pink soon tho but I'm rlly bad at planning stuff and I need a friend's mom to do it

7. Favourite way to travel? Is there another way you want to try?

Unfortunately for me the only way I really can get anywhere is driving myself, sometimes my boyfriend and I will walk to the bars up the street but I don't feel safe doing that alone so it's kinda seldom. I would love to live somewhere with public transport tho I love hearing people from europe/places with public transport talk about it bc I wanna live vicariously through y'all

8. Favourite month and why?

Honestly I don't really have one lol I don't rlly look forward to a specific month, I like spring/fall in general just bc of the temperature changes

9. Favourite time of the day and why?

I really like early mornings, honestly I've been having some tummy issues that force me to be up but once my stomach feels better I'm pretty thankful to be up. Especially before work I feel a lot better if I have time to eat and workout/read

10. Do you play or follow any sports?

Not much, I did start playing tennis sometimes but honestly I barely even understand the rules I just like the exercise and spending time with loved ones! I also got kinda into soccer this year for the world cup but I don't know a ton of stuff about it yet Bellingham and Haaland just seem cool 😭

11. What kind of music has been stuck in your head lately?

Every time I get a tag post I swear I'm listening to Megan Thee Stallion lmao, I've also been listening to my usual video game music.

12. Dishes or laundry?

I don't mind either because I get to watch YouTube while I'm doing them, but I guess dishes just bc there is less work involved bc you don't have to remember to switch stuff over

I'm learning a lot of soccer rules honestly I didn't know red/yellow cards cost that player money 😭

14. What could you talk about if you give a TED talk on anything?

Honestly there's a million feminist things I could probably go on about forever just bc a bitch is pissed off about the ways the patriarchy affects every single thing we do

15. Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?

It's okay to be bad at things, and there's nothing wrong with it. I'm such a quitter at heart but you don't get better that way

Probably to spend your money way better, start budgeting way younger

Not really? I normally make a wish at 11:11 but I don't take it very seriously lol, and I always pick up pennies with heads up

No I want to learn how to play trumpet tho

Probably type, but for super personal stuff I prefer to write so it's more stream of consciousness

Honestly anything I like talking to people on here ngl lol. Especially ppl from different places bc I've always lived in one spot so it's been rlly cool hearing from ppl in different countries over the past year :) traveling vicariously bc I'm a broke bitch stuck in the US lmao
