And the moon brought a daughter into the world. The moon gave pieces of herself in hopes to make her daughter shine.

But the daughter is the perfect contrast to her mother.

Her mother and all her sacrifice shines through the darkest of nights while she shines alone in the blue sky.

Though, the moon and it's sacrifices are beautiful and keep company to the lonely, they are useless to the sun.

The stars are invisible to the bright light of the sun. The sun can't shine next to her mother for that is the way of fate.

But every now and then the moon takes a risk and comes to give her daughter a kiss...
