Easy for you to say, Mark. You have thousands of dollars in the bank and a stable, fun, job. Your basically a celebrity. Millions of fans would die for you. For some people like me who have been to a low place in my life where I wanted to end it, sometimes life isn’t fair. It was fair to you, it certainly wasn’t fair to me. So telling people like us who live shit lives, and will never benefit or make any difference to the world that life is worth living, makes no sense.

It may be hard to imagine but I have been at that low point too. It’s true, I do have a wonderful job and a comfortable life but before that came the dark times. I remember lying in a hospital bed and staring up at the ceiling and just wondering “WHY.” I had just had a tumor removed, was in thousands of dollars of debt, exited an abusive relationship, and lost my job with only my mom’s basement to look forward to. And while my story may not be as low as many others have been, I’m living proof that you can pull yourself out of the darkness. You just have to believe that the future can be better. ALWAYS believe.

What is one of your happiest memories?

I don’t know about overall happiest but I do remember one of my earliest happy memories is from my 7th birthday. I didn’t expect anything for it and when I came home from school, my mother had a big box of toys as a gift and I was so completely and unbelievably happy.

Looking back as I got older I realised that they were all second hand toys, which I didn’t realise at the time because I was just so happy to get stuff for my bday! I think that’s why I’m very fond of the number 7 and being 7 years old :P

Hello. This is just a short post that I’m going to type out addressed to the handful of communities that I am apart of.

Thank you all for being so kind and welcoming to me, but my time here is up. Not only in these communities, but in general. My time on this earth has been spent, and I would no longer like to be here.

You’ve all been amazing, really. I, personally, have not dealt with any hatred or toxic people, and I apprecuate that.

So, thank you for welcoming me, and thank you for letting me go.

I know you’re getting a lot of advice right now and you’ve got a lot of decisions made up in your head already but please take a moment. Take a moment to hear all the voices that want to help you right now. It might not seem like enough to change your mind but I hope it’s enough to make it clear that people do honestly care.
