stranger things is the og “escaped containment” show

and i feel like we don’t talk about it enough, but this show was created for outcasts

since the first ever episode stranger things has made it known that this show is about people of colour and queer people and everyone who has ever felt like they don’t fit in

even down to the human antagonists of each season being the stereotypical “popular jock” characters who would typically be the focus of the story

so anytime i see someone post something about how byler would never happen i laugh cause have you literally not been paying attention?? have you even seen the show? cause they would. they absolutely would.

first impressions of 9-1-1 Nashville:

for the first episode it felt like there was a lot going on with the derby, the bachelorette party, the music festival, the twister and everything it was pretty crazy

i like all of the characters so far, but i wish we got to see more of the two female fire fighters this ep

i’m not sure why but i feel like the show is missing a character, like there should be another fire fighter, the cast is just so overpowered with the family storyline

overall not a bad start to the season and i’ll definitely keep watching, but i also don’t have super high expectations (keeping an open mind tho)

just saw someone in an Edgar Allan Ravens (Jean Moreau) jersey out in the wild and i overthought it so i didn’t say anything, but then i saw them again like 5 minutes later and it was just too serendipitous so i walked up to them and said “sorry but i love your shirt” and they had this look of like embarrassment like i had found out some deep secret then we chatted for a bit about how much we love the books and parted ways

i immediately texted my friend who reads aftg cause it was so exciting

i literally never talk to strangers under any circumstances but my love of aftg knows no bounds
