hi !! so i figured the best way to kick off my new writing help blog would be with a masterlist of my favorite plot bunnies, including ones i stumbled across and ones that i came up with on my own. there are currently 33 plot bunnies in this list, and i will most likely expand upon it. these can work for indie rping, group rping, or even if you just need inspiration to write something. enjoy !!

muse a‘s old drug dealer got arrested, so muse b was given all of their old clients. the first time muse a buys off of their new dealer, they find muse b strikingly attractive but is unsure whether or not they should do anything about it. because of this, muse a starts buying drugs more frequently to see muse b, even inviting them to parties and asking them to hang out. will they keep it strictly professional, or let their romantic desires get in the way?
muse a and muse b are best friends; they’ve been platonic pals for a while. muse b and his long-time girlfriend broke up about three months ago, and she’s begun to date someone new. muse a, on the other hand, has been receiving obnoxious unwanted attention from a guy at school. one afternoon, while hanging out, muse a keeps getting texts from the irritating admirer. muse b decides to take care of things for muse a: he texts the guy telling him that he’s her boyfriend, and that he needs to back off. muse a is grateful, but then reminds him that he didn’t think his plan through very well: word has spread that muse a and muse b are together. to serve both their purposes- hopefully making muse b’s ex jealous, and keeping up the ruse that saved muse a- they decide to pretend to date.
muse a and muse b are siblings and are forced to stick together because their family is undergoing a lot of issues at the moment. they never really got along as kids, but now they’re all that they have. sometimes muse a, being the older sibling, snaps at muse b when they can no longer take the pressure of being protective, but muse b knows that no matter what muse a says or does, there’s always some type of familial love behind it.
muse a was new to town and moved into the house next door to muse b when they were very young. they grew up together and were inseparable best friends for years. as teenagers, they were the same. but because of their bond muse a and muse b would sometimes accidentally end up making out at parties and just basically have no personal boundaries. then muse a starts noticing the way that muse b looks at them, how they always want to hold hands, how they always sit really close to them/cuddle them when they hang out.
muse a confessed their love for muse b, their best friend. however, muse b said that they did not see the relationship in that kind of light and rejected muse a. muse a tries to cope with the heartbreak when muse b arrives at their doorstep and kisses them with a passion neither of them have ever felt before. when they wake up together in bed in the morning, muse b insists it was a mistake and leaves before they can be stopped. lather, rinse, repeat. (i have a strong passion for aus where best friends fall in love can u tell)
originally, muse a and muse b weren’t each other’s biggest fans as their marriage was arranged. though, as time goes on and they spend more and more time together, they find that they actually have a lot more in common than they think and grow closer. muse a sees the relationship as more of a friendship and avoids kissing/fucking/showing affection to muse b whenever possible and assumes they feel the same, but muse b starts genuinely falling in love with muse a.
so u know those aus where u have ur soulmate’s name tattooed on your wrist??? so what if muse a meets muse b one day and immediately falls for them. glancing at their wrist, muse a comes to the disappointing realization that they are not indeed soulmates. despite this, muse a introduces themselves as the name on muse b’s wrist and have to hide the real name on their wrist while they date and grow closer. (there’s like a million different ways this could end, use ur imagination)
