Timeline of why Valko hasn't comeback (yet)
Since getting Chinese sides translation can be difficult in the west, here is (hopefully) a complete timeline of what has led up to today
General dissent has been building about missing and generally lacking free content in the game (MS, Bonds, Anecdotes, Diamond farming,...)
Several incidents of cultural insensitivity (about shrines and other historical things, still diggining into this)
CN side already being unhappy and Valko being the straw that broke the camels back, followed by the lashing out you most likely have witnessed
Infold doubled down on keeping Valko (June 27th)
731 incident and Valkos home invasion being brought to the appropriate ministries (article came out on July 8th although you should definitely read this supplementary material as well) attention, followed by some sort of investigation (details have, at least not yet, come out)
An artificially increased hate wave (that also got Silent Whispers caught in a speculative cross fire)
Infold took back their previous statement and announced Valkos removal (June 30th)
In this time frame, up to now several incidents have been caused by antis, among them: delivery of animal excrements, funeral flowers and 1 person disguising themselves as a delivery person, to enter with a knife (I had better proof, but unfortunately I can't find it anymore)
Infold had to withdraw from Bilbili World (allegedly because antis used their on site forms to voice safety concerns that forced the organizer's to exclude LaDs)
The jp event in roppongi also got cancelled
Today (July 8th) the police had to be called multiple times for incidents and was stationed for safety infront of the building
Among the claims of the CCPs evaluation of the games content was that "the game isn't properly promoting Chinese culture", so if you're wondering why they skipped the No Defense Zone and Misty Invasion rerun in favor of Wander in Wander, this should answer it
Infold could have taken multiple preventative steps to avoid this absolute shit show
But if this timeline makes you think Infold simply bend the knee to antis, I hope you reconsider
They have poured millions into creating him and his screen testing as well as the entire rest of the processes energy, love and money. Infold will want to get him to us, just purely from a business perspective
If it is possible he will be released
6.0 update is also incredibly large for its content, the options:
Terribly optimised Kitchen system
Due to lack of testing time they just disabled Valkos content, but left it in the files
And if 2 is true they could theoretically enable it at any point in time
