This film means a lot to me, as does most of Bergman’s work.

I am a black and white cinema lover, and this was the first of his color works that I had watched. But in a way, it’s the most black and white color film I have ever seen, simply given the strong contrasting colors and composition.

After my first watch I had a difficult time forming words to describe my thoughts. But as time has passed, this film has been slowly carving its place into the collective of works that really inspire and affect me.

I did loot her clothes when I knocked her out at the goblin camp but she miraculously appeared wearing the same shit at moonrise lol. So I like to picture them in matching fits every night.

No I did not slaughter the grove for her but I was kind, knocked her out, and then broke her out of prison! Even gave her my special astral tadpole bc she asked nicely.🖤
