I know you're not necessarily back to writing but it's nice to see you back in Tumblr! I missed seeing you on my dash, I hope your break did you well! 💕
hiiii
yesss, thank you i did write for a bit and i've been gone for so long. I REALLY wanna write again if i have the time. im hoping once im officially done with school i can perhaps maybe finish this Bridgeton story or write a whole new fic. WHO KNOWSSSS
just came to say I missed u 😭 I came back a few months ago and was sad to see you hadn’t posted in a while but I’m happy to hear you’re almost done with school!! off to bigger and better things, good luck to you 🫶🏽

i really really miss the memories ive had with a lot of my mutuals and readers <3
i'm still a bit of a writer, i write in my free time but i haven't gained the confidence to post on here as of now. it would be amazing to talk to you guys on here about my latest reads, drafts, and any updates we've all had!
pleaseeeee dm me, send me an inbox, whatever it is! id love to talk to you guys again <3
i think its not a coincidence that i love dori sakurada and seonghwa BECAUSE THEY LOOK SO SIMILAR???????? DO I HAVE A TYPE?????? pls someone say they do
hi, don’t fucking put my writing/wips through ai. that’s so disrespectful and major loser behaviour. i don’t give a shit if you’re annoyed that i’ve not written in over a year, nor that many of my fics are unfinished/unposted. you are not entitled to my intellectual property, nor any other writer’s on this app.
why the fuck would ppl do this shit. why. it literally undermines ppl who spend hundreds of hours making storylines and plots…please. instead of doing all that and boastfully sharing it, go read another authors story or go look at other works by the same author and actually support them so they would feel inclined and motivated to write. or maybe try writing a fic or two urself and see how much time and effort it takes so u could appreciate it.
i wanted to post another part of the fic i am writing since i feel a lack of engagement and it makes me fear ppl will not like it. so maybe another part of the fic will bring some interest :)
the original part is here so pls reference this if you are confused <3
summary: seonghwa asks y/n of their true feelings of their future groom. it seems like seonghwa has found y/n a match but their tension seems to just boil as he feels that the last moments with y/n will be of end if he doesn't come to his senses.
please, it would be lovely to get some engagement and support for this preview fic so i am aware if there will be people who truly enjoy it! it will also motivate me immensely to write it! thank you <3
"You do not answer my question, Lady Y/n. Do you love him?" he asked.
Strained voices covered and echoed the room. In such silent, dark room, everything seemed to be twice as louder. And his question bared a simple answer. Yet, you could not give it to him. It was not stuck in between your tongue, it was merely not there. It was far from your throat or even your heart; the answer was nowhere to be found, even from the beginning
"I-I, do not know w-what you are aski-" you simply began.
And five steps of loud thuds arrived at your feet. His face neared you, breathed heavily, noses in mere succession after one another. His mouth faltered between your lips. He closed his eyes, touching your forehead with his.
"You know exactly of my words, Lady Y/n." he whispered.
He breathed in your scent as you did his. The feeling of his lips, conjuring an emotion of need and wants you simply could not express but had given to him.
He grabbed your cheeks, one by one, till you remained only of his palm, closing your eyes in hopes of finding this all a dream.
"You know exactly what I mean, my Lady. You know exactly what I ask of you and what I wish to hear from you." he spoke in a daring voice, to provoke you and to be held in shambles.
You had only inclined in response. A mere release of a single breath told him all, a simple shutter in his hands but no words escaped between your teeth.
He only held you harder, gripping your cheeks in a way where no other word was acceptable than an answer he had provided - an answer you had wished to say so loudly it rang through the court.
"Tell me, what I wish to here from you." He repeated.
"You are asking of madness-" you responded.
"I am not asking of madness!" he shouted so indulgingly, so critically that he was the one filled with madness.
"I am not asking you of something hard. I am not asking you to call upon some emotion you do not have! I am simply asking you to tell me, Do you love him?" he howled.
You stood there with nothing more than what you called, pride. Pride was good enough of a reason to tell him, yes you did indeed love him. It was good enough to ridicule a lie to him and shut your eyes close as tears glided down your cheeks. It was good enough to never confess what dying and infuriating love you had for him, enough to kill you inside day by day as you stood there and watched him, turning your own life into something you had never wished for.
You hated your own cries, your own words that you always feared would be pushed out for the sake of your own, "I do love him, My Lord." you said.
You had shut your eyes when speaking. You hadn't want to see his expression, what he held you to answer to him when it was as simple as it seemed. Whether it be sadness or anger that filled his face, you wished it did not concern you. But the depths of his silence had already said it all.
okay to sort it out, y/n is a lady who is getting sponsored to find a husband asap (due to her mother's illness really). but since her sponsor, lady park, a bit too old to go to every ball she instead asks her son, lord park (seonghwa) to help her court since they've known each other since uni

This ball might have been called the ball of the century. Lights gathered at the entrance of the gates as it shined so brightly your carriage glistened from the inside. You paused to ready yourself into a jungle you must get through, the morning light your only savior and maybe some rum too. Yet you only found yourself in the middle of the ball once stepping out of the carriage so swiftly.
"Lady ____, do you care for a dance?" You heard from your back.
You turned around only to be faced with Lord Coombs, the Lord who have had too many drinks last time around and had placed his hand on your waist for far too long, with comments about a pretty child you must birth. Of course, that being he was nearing his thirties. You were utterly disgusted.
"Oh, I ought to find me some punch, I am a bit thirsty-" but with a mere push of a shoulder from a stranger walking by, your hands were met with Lord Coombs and his engagement to get you into a dance.
"I'm glad you agreed." he said, although your feet disagreed.
The dance took place in the middle of the hall of course, but with many eyes and stares, there was nothing you could do but hold your breath when you neared Lord Coombs and his outgrown stache. It was quite a lot to handle in a dance.
"You do realize I am looking for a wife this season?" he whispered.
You failed to hold your distaste in his hidden message as you lightly coughed out, "Of course, my Lord." not meeting a glance within his eyes.
He continued, "Well, I believe as being a suitor of many Ladies in this season, I favor you as a potential."
You coughed louder. "Oh, I am terribly sorry. I may have something stuck in my throat. I have no clue." You said in attempt to gather yourself.
"Well, I was hoping you would be interested in a second dance as I can speak about my upcoming plans for you?-" he chanced, with his same icky fingers placed on your hips, just as you were ready to press your heals to exit the place.
"Oh, I wouldn't dare. I'm sure t-there are many other ladies who would want a d-dance with you cause I would need to definitely go and see..." you glanced upon the entrances of the room, finding absolute nothing, "Um... well you see..." You hummed even louder, spacing out your words to find a near escape.
Lord Coombs only did the same and looks towards your direction, "I don't see any-"
And just as you peered one final time, a familiar face appeared in your site.
Seonghwa appeared into your line of sight. His hair was lightly combed, a few flicks of hair covering his pale forehead. His velvet gown sat atop of it all and glistened amongst the rest. The crowd seemingly to be present at his entrance. If you were a fool, you would have been one of those many Ladies attemping to swoon at any moment. But you were no fool, especially for Seonghwa.
You glanced at him, strikingly making a furrow with your eyebrows, a slight mouthing to him "save me" while you looked back at Lord Coombs with merely a grin.
Seonghwa found this all too funny. You, the girl he knew in university, smitten by astrology books and poetries, rather looking graceful in a long regency dress that faltered at your toes. It was all quite too well of an evening to be seeing you like this. He may have needed a few cups of spiked punch to lay his eyes again on you.
You signed again. "Seonghwa!" you mouthed.
His simple grin told it all, how entertaining he found this to be. He raised his glass at your direction as you gained yourself a nod too.
Oh how mad you were to be.
You heard a humph in Lord Coombs voice, making you turn your gaze towards him "Lady____ please, this next dance will-"
But suddenly, "Lord Coombs!" you heard with Seonghwa magically appearing at your side.
"Lord Park!" he sang presently, "It's so odd to be seeing you here, I was beginning to think you weren't coming back from your travels."
You scuffed at the mere idiocrasy of Seonghwa's choice in making a fool out of you, arriving just mere seconds before Lord Coombs could grab your hand for the next moment.
"Oh of course, I needed to pay a visit to my mother and other favors she have asked of me" he said peering towards your direction, placing his hands on his abdomen for a light nod, a courtesy of a bow even.
Lord Coombs erupted, "I was just asking Lady ____ to a second dance, I rather find her amusing and perfect for my potential lady-"
"I believe Lady ____ will need the chance to have a dance with me, as I have not seen her in years." he said, eyeing you down, scanning your dress and finally your shoes, "I am wondering if her feet have finally found their place." he laughed as no restraints were placed in Seonghaw being able to take you away from Lord Coombs so fast.
But the next dance started ever so soon. You curtsied in front Seonghwa going no lower than your knees would usually allow to. He does the same.
"It's quite nice to see you finally, in a fancy dress and proper. It pains me to think about the days we saw each other throughout the halls of Cambridge. You were quite selfishly dressed."
You merely grinned at his notation, hinting no sign of the ways you were repelled by his comment. Cause of course he were to never see you in a regency dress, or even at a ball you might say.
"Well, I do also think it pains me thinking about the gossip that ran through those same halls about you, my Lord" You replied in spite.
You took a step towards his direction before turning away to be facing back to back. "And you believe they are true?" he replied.
Of course you believed they were true. The rumors around Cambridge hall were almost always true. The dean of the college was merely fired in spite of rumors of him having an affair with one of the kitchen maids. And later, she was seen with a full belly.
"Of course I do think they are-" you spoke. You knew rumors were just rumors but the gossip surrounding Seonghwa was simply mad. It just made you dislike him even more.
There wasn't much about Seonghwa at first for you. He was merely one of those rakes you simply did not wish to conversate with. You rather were focused on other problems. But, at some point in the curriculum, Seonghwa was found to be the most maddest men of all.
It's like he always wanted to say something more, beat you in every second of the game. When you raised your fingers to uphold a point or argument, a shooting hand was always to be seen in the corner of your view. It was rebuttal after rebuttal. His personal views and experience over yours, the way he added that to women were not able to see in light of his experienced due to the privilege of a man to travel.
And then, the worst of all was the day you eavesdropped his conversation with the other rakes after marks.
"She merely accounted for a good mark because she probably swooned at the professor." Seonghwa spoke proudly.
"Oh, I'm positive that her lack of interest in being a Lady will outgrow her any time now. What will she do once she births a child, teach it about astronomy?." Another commented while many laughed in a chuckle.
And there you saw Seonghwa laugh with them. His fingers on his chin as he almost giggled in symphony as if his own marks were good of your own. He simply discredited your ability in this world for the reason of being a women. You wanted to scream.
He saw you no more than a women with odd interests, no more than a women with no abilities other than to swoon over the professor for good marks. And oh have you hated him since.
"And that's what I thought. You yourself do not know if these rumors are to be said to be true." Seonghwa rebuttaled.
You blew air on your bangs. "I am just hoping they are worse then."
"Well, what is worse is the fact that you ought to find a husband by this season. And by the rumors I've heard of you, you are far from it." He noted.
You huffed in reply, "Seems that the rumors are not true. I am nearing a suitor soon. As you could tell from the previous dance, my Lord", seemingly wanting to disagree, although you knew it was true yourself. The latest course with the other suitors were not much of a match, especially with their mamas.
"Mr. Coombs, you mean? Oh of course, how lovely it would be for you to be married to his scrumptious hair cut of his or maybe the fact that his sight has been rather bad lately, he's close our mother's age after all."
Seonghwa grinned.
"Then what do you ought I must do, if you are so well versed about this whole courting business." you asked rather in an annoying tone understanding that Seonghwa had lots of fair business in telling you how to court.
"Well, as your new sponsor I'd recommend to stop acting like you are in no need of a husband," he grinned, "You speak as if you are merely disgusted by the fact of someone being able to take care of you and give you a nice home."
You stared in despair. Nothing more angered you than the societal males expecting the only thing desirable for a women was to wed and be protected. You wished you could zip his mouth and if only the whole ton wasn't watching, you would have done it in a heart beat.
"You ought to know nothing about what I really need." you spoke.
"Then, is what you need a laugh from the ton about your outspoken head?" he chanced as your two bodies glided towards one another, a simple step it was, but how infuriating it felt as your knees gripped in anger. "Only if they knew you are to be locked out of your own country if not wed this season. Maybe they would pity you. I wouldn't myself, of course."
One last time, your faces met, closer than before as you screamed anger all over your face. You spun as your hands clasped to his shoulder, his hands on your waist, gripping you down from exploding on his name. You were bound to yell but his mouth planted near your neck and a soft breath blew on them. You mortified yet lulled from your anger.
He had known your next move, your instinct to pierce away from the dance or shout and oddly, he had stopped you from doing so.
His hot breath lingered on your neck, then to your ears where you felt the focus of his pace. The beating of your heart surged as you felt it down your neck.
He gripped your waist once more, squeezing the fabric of the dress to restrain you once more. "Shhhhhh my Lady. You must not scream." he creeped up to your ears. "You are a Lady finding a suitor this season after all."
The dancing scene while arguing is a CLASSIC!! To be quite honest, I'm already annoyed at Seonghwa's character, but I can't wait to read more and discover more about those rumours and his personality. As always, you did a great job, your writing is impeccable and it made me shiver with anger and curiosity!
ah!!! thank you for this reblog!! yes i couldn't help but add an arguing while dancing scene since it had me squealing in the bridgerton show. and yes, seonghwa has to be like annoying but in a way, i want him to be protective of her. although he has intentions to let her go to a real suitor, i always want him to grab their arm one last time, ask them if they really love whoever it may be. that kind of stuff. and the back story of seonghwa and the rumors... we will get to find out!
okay to sort it out, y/n is a lady who is getting sponsored to find a husband asap (due to her mother's illness really). but since her sponsor, lady park, a bit too old to go to every ball she instead asks her son, lord park (seonghwa) to help her court since they've known each other since uni

would it be odd to place ateez into a bridgerton era type of writing. CAUSE UGH i am in love with bridgerton again and this is wanting me to write again. BUT I CANNOT STAND the fact that i would have to addressing them like "Lord Park" ... BRUH IDK can someone let me know...
i did a whole lot of mixing of tropes from bridgerton but briefly, i made it about a girl who needs to find a husband and is getting sponsored by someone like lady danbury, only that she has a son and is asking her son to assist her in courting a guy but they hate each other because they went to university together.
I couldn't care less if it's odd or not, I just know I NEED it! I haven't watched Bridgerton, but, from what I've seen, it looks cool, so please let us read what your great mind is thinking of 💕 I'd read it all!
PLS watch bridgerton!!! its so good. and yes the oddness, i realized it does not matter at this point! i was quite surprised that many people wanted to see this in the first place! therefore, i will be going at it! i did post a little sneak peak thing and so i hope ppl can give me feed back there <3 but thank you for this saturno! <33
B-but what about Lord Kang? And Lord Choi? All this while I have waited, to see a beauty transcendent of gender, so divine, brought forth to my glimmering eye not for property, but for his manner, for love that makes me burn for him
TL; DR I really really want a yeosang fic in the same universe as the seonghwa one
oh god, i was thinking from the beginning, yeosang has to be portrayed in a bridgerton fic. LIKE THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. i want him to be cold, not looking for love but being swept up by someone sweet and jumpy and loving. i think it would be the sweetest of fics.
and as for lord CHOI. hmm. there is so much. we can make his charismatic fs. i want him to be like a guard, someone of lower rank who supports their lady in courting but ends up falling in love with them despite pushing himself away many times, knowing what it meant for the lady. UGH there's just so much but IF I CAN IN THE FUTURE WE WILL DO IT I PROMSE YOUUUUUUU
okay to sort it out, y/n is a lady who is getting sponsored to find a husband asap (due to her mother's illness really). but since her sponsor, lady park, a bit too old to go to every ball she instead asks her son, lord park (seonghwa) to help her court since they've known each other since uni

You hummed even louder, spacing out your words to find a near escape.
