My personal Candle Cove headcanon (not compatible with the wiki, Channel Zero, or any other expansion of the original creepypasta lore) is that I like to believe that the fact that Percy is made of parts from different puppets, which, according to those who watched the show, gives him a strange appearance (since they claim he was scary) despite the fact that it is due to the program's low budget was vaguely justified within the series' lore

Something like: "What happened was that Percy used to be a normal puppet, but he was attacked by the Skin-Taker. He barely survived, so we had to perform surgery on him" and the "surgery" was just putting him back together with new parts
