After so many years and tears (three-ish weeks) I FINALLY finished it—A piece inspired by @gali-in-distress ‘s Trans!Nigel AU post ! :D

Was obsessed with both the concept and how the edit turned out, and I also, funnily enough, ended up seeing it around the same that both my own gender dysphoria and PMS were starting to beat my ass. So one thing led to another, and I ended up working on this.

+ here’s two other doodles I made playing around with the concept below

Has anyone considered the inherent abject that comes from gender dysphoria? The intense conflict between self and body; and how desperately we may want to rid of certain parts as those parts exist as a constant reminder of that attached "other" that shouldn't belong.
