On this first day of Navratri, the celebration of "Shakti", as a humble homage, i present my short story collection NINE that tries to portray this "Shakti" in the form of nine characters who survive and thrive against all odds. This book is an attempt to tell the tales of these women's indomitable zest for life. Life without any glorification! Life at its rawest!! Life as it is lived!!!
