long time no nemu... i drew her again and wanted to play around with colors so yayyyyyy i've been using gradient maps a lot recently, i always render in b&w to begin with and i find a lot more color cohesion when i use gradient maps compared to tone curves, i also feel more confident using colors that i typically wouldn't use. though i should also properly study colors on my own 😓😓😓

Quick redraw of the drawing of my pfp, the composition and errors I saw always bothered me and I knew I could do better 😭

I tried to put more cohesion into the colors... im still not the best at it, but.. with the old drawing the colors were pretty but everything was the same value which made it so bland tbh.. i tried to fix the values a tiny bit more but keep the same vibe the old colors have, but im not too sure how much it worked.

Drawing this was fun, especially since its been a while since I've last drawn and I know im still capable of drawing things im happy about now... its still a very rough sketch as you can tell. I might make it a full piece but I also want to take my time with it so its still fun... im trying to find balance in work and art now, now that my 12 hour shifts are finally ending :')

vashwood.... i love trigun sm. i domt think i ever posted it on this acc before but ? i really love trigun.

they put trigun in my diagnostic papers bcs i wouldnt shut up abt it. but i dont draw fanart for it a lot ⁉️ i think i'm just not really a fanart-making person deep down, but i get the urge to draw fanart for the things i really love sometimes.

all of that to say. i love trigun but despite being a fanart person since i was a kid i still don't know how to draw vash's hair dude. but i want to draw them more ! i own the entire manga collection once they started reprinting it and i've been rereading it from the start... ive reread it like 5 times already but my memory is so bad that everytime i start again its like ive never read it before 😭😭 but i guess that keeps me in love with it too bcs i never get tired of it lolol

I got commissioned to make the PNGtuber model of @/omnommiees on Twitter ! Making PNGtubers is still a very new process for me that im still learning, but im happy I was trusted enough to make one for someone !! :)

PNGtuber models are something I find I really enjoy making, though intimidating at first. And I hope this is a small step forward to becoming a vtuber papa one day.... :0 I'll start teaching myself that, eventually !!!!

Its been uhhhh around 5-ish months I think ? I wanna try coming back to tumblr i think (<- a lot of my friends are on it and I got fomo ermmmm)

But I was in a really bad bout of feeling insecure of my art and felt a need to constantly keep making things or else id stay stagnant, and it stressed me out which made me uninstall a lot of my socials 😭

But I've done a lot of reflecting i think and I wanna come back here at my own pace, nod nod.. I'll keep this a slightly more personal account with a bunch of ramblings and like. Oc stuff along with the art I post ^_^ anyways yeah hi
