ポプテピピックパロ 清一色✕花喃

ポプテピが牢屋回だったので清一色と花喃でトレスしてみました。

二人とも牢屋でいつも何の話してたんでしょうか？ 猪悟能の話ばっかりしてたのかな？

花喃の髪の色が分からなかったのでアニメ版で着色。 作った後で改めて花喃の画像を検索してみたんですが、八戒より明るい髪色なんですね！

「御奉仕しますヨ？」 なんて言われたら八戒は普通に草むしりとか雑用の仕事任せちゃいそうですね。

It's been A YEAR for sure, nevermind that we're JUST in April, and I'm still alive! Just not really in a good headspace to be on Tumblr too often, and retreating to some old comforts while work piles up. One of the things I've been hopped on is finally sitting down and trying to finish the ENTIRETY of Saiyuki after I dropped it during college during Reload, and that there's actually a playlist on Youtube with ALL the original Gensomaden episodes has made for a wonderful walk back through memory lane. Weirdly enough, it still stands up pretty decently episode 4 onwards---it's clearly on a shoestring budget but the show works well with what it has; atmosphere, great storyboarding and intimate character moments. Through which i REALISE that for such a formative part of my teen years, I've never actually made a single Saiyuki fanart because I was neck-deep in it during a time when I couldn't draw humans, so here's to fixing that once and for all and seeing how far I've come from then, from wistfully wishing I could draw these characters to finally being able to do them the justice they deserve!

OKAY SO basically I have this idea for a fanfiction about Hazel and Gat not long after they start traveling together, so they're still figuring out how they work together, but also run into a bunch of trouble. I drew this comic (instead of writing for god knows what reason) as a sort of summary of what would happen.
