Listen to Steve on “Master Thieves” live and on the Internet

Steve Kurkjian was interviewed by Jeff Schechtman’s blog “Specific Gravity” about his recently released book “Master Thieves” about the heist of 13 masterpieces from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum 25 years ago. Those in the Boston area can listen to Steve on March 25 at Wellesley Books at 7 p.m.

“Master Thieves” author Stephen Kurkjian spoke at Northeastern University about the theft of 13 masterpieces including Vermeer’s “The Concert,” Rembrandt’s “The Storm on the Sea of Galilee,” and “Chez Tortoni” by Manet. During the talk, Steve said: “I’m Armenian and 100 years ago, my people lost all of its cultural treasures to the Armenian Genocide. As an American and a Bostonian, I don’t want to lose any more.”  Book now out from Public Affairs publishing and available at book stores.
