This round of new characters was mostly about finally making a bunch of characters I’ve been planning for a while now, which would also complete my “have one of every Sylvari gender/profession combo” goal.

Allakh Bloodbane is my condi Herald, whose notable accomplishments during her brief unkillable-soloing-fractals-era include getting Nightmare runes nerfed! Sorry...

Between Sikandar, Vassago, Mawdrey, Mallyx, and the Gasping Gaze shoulders, Allakh is decked out with more pets than your average Ranger, and I find that even post-nerf, Celestial Herald with Nightmare runes is quite sturdy while soloing. Definitely an underappreciated low-intensity gem right now.

When Scion's Claw won the Design-a-Weapon contest- checks calendar- more than five years ago??? There was simply no choice but to lean all in on an Aurene-themed character, and so Krystalynne began to dream. There sure are a lot of Revenants on my account! She's a power Herald: Did you know it became a quickness spec this Summer? I didn't until making this post…

Fast forward to the modern era, and I've yet to make her an Aurene legendary weapon. I know, I know. It's just that between Caithe's Bloom Sword and Scion's Claw, and the fact that I already have Bolt to cover my legendary sword needs, I really can't justify the sword, and the shield looks worse than Glint's Bastion IMO. I might make the hammer- but I also like Sharur. Oh, the choice paralysis.

Give a warm welcome to Oirelm, the Quickness Scrapper. Guaranteed to lubricate you to the point that you move twice as quickly or your money back. Her favored pastimes include being a nuisance to the Inquest, being a nuisance to everyone else, and looking cute while doing it. Just don't ask her about her DPS numbers.

Remember last year when they threatened to revert the best change ever and take away Scrapper's following wells? So glad they didn't follow through on that.

Medium armor has always been a real challenge to get right for me, but I'm rather satisfied with her look. The Foefire legwraps are a godsend.

Specter has such pretty animations, I only wish I could remember what all these buttons in Shadow Shroud do! That's the trouble with trying to play every single build in the game all at once...

Side note: This game really needs a modern photo mode and high resolution screenshots. Spoilt by Warfame's Captura, one would hope that it's in the works </3
