I fucking love making a big bowl of garden salad, just a huge pile of raw vegetables, maybe some chickpeas or kidney beans or a bit of cheese or tuna or whatever for protein, drizzle that shit with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, just absolutely delicious and crunchy every bite, feels good to eat and then I feel good after I eat it.

But god DAMN does it take me forever to eat a salad. Every bite takes forever to chew. All that FIBER.

Zero chance I'll ever be one of those people who doesn't get enough fiber. I probably get too much if anything. I just wish it didn't take so long to eat my salad because I lose a lot of time in the day.

Caesar Salad Review 15: Galactic Pizza

My lord. My god. Holy moly.

So it’s pretty well established at this point that I like caesar salad. If I see one on the menu I order it. Recently I’ve started looking for more local places to go get food from.

Admittedly it can be hard to go to non chain places as an autistic person. Consistency makes it hard to deviate, but I’ve been working on it! Why, five years ago I wouldn’t even eat a caesar salad! But now it’s one of my favorite foods.

Galactic pizza is a bit far from us in Avl. It’s more in Arden and I did feel a bit guilty having my partner drive us back in the same direction he goes to for work.

But holy fuck was it worth it.

This salad…. was immaculate. I love a creamy caesar, personally I think it’s better that way. A lot of homemade caesar dressing struggle with this. But not this dressing. I had them give us extra to take home it was so scrummy. It was perfectly tangy and if you concentrated you could totally taste the fresh anchovy paste in there! I was in love with this dressing.

They added so much parmesan I felt like I was in heaven. Perfect amount, could not be better.

The croutons were chefs kiss. Perfectly soft and stabbable, but also packed with flavor. They were buttery, I wanted to just eat more croutons. It was wild.

Overall I give this salad a perfect 10/10 score. Fuck man, I give it an 11/10. This may be the best caesar I’ve had at this point, hands down. I will be dreaming of this salad and I implore you to travel to asheville just to have this salad.
