He's turned away, but his eye still sees me

He looks |down| upon me

Disapproving.

His mouth, down turned

The lone eye glaring at me, barely open

Squinting.

The anger shines clearly.

His breathing is quick and laboured

Fire spills out of him on every exhale

Every inhale,

Burns.

I step closer, he shifts on the stones of his castle

He turns to face me,

His beard black as ebony, stretching outward

His scales, like daggars.

Suddenly, his head dips sideways toward the earth

What he wants is clear.

This piece was inspired by the glass wind chimes hanging from a hat of a character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Tanjiro's swordsmith is an amazing weirdo snd i love him
