@descendantofthesparrow has been doing a bunch of moodboards for the Core Four for ROR and I like them, so I’m stealing and want to do one for Audrey cause I’ve got my own HC’s about what she’s up to during Rise of Red. I hope you don’t mind bby 🫶🏻
Audrey has chronic wanderlust after the events of the movies. She’s been through a lot, going through some serious emotional and physical healing after wielding the scepter (you can read more about that journey here). So, safe to say, she doesn’t want anything to do with Auradon, Auroria, or anyplace in between. She packs a bag or two, grabs her camera, and she and Chad go off to explore the country’s natural wonder.
Because, despite how she comes off, yes, Audrey does actually love nature.
She has no job and isn’t in any sort of rush to get one. Though she was thinking about law school after returning from her trip. But she sells her photography and things that she makes on her travels for a bit of extra gas money. Chad still gets regular deposits from his parents, so they’re never financially struggling. However, they are off grid most (if not all) the time, so the events of ROR are a complete surprise when they do manage to get back in service.
To break out of the ‘royal’ box she’s been stuck in her entire life, Audrey does some wild things on her travels. She gets a few tattoos, tries some questionable substances, drinks, gambles, swims naked, and learns how to drive a stick shift. Despite Chad owning the van, he’s a passenger princess as Audrey does most of the driving, mapping out new routes for them to explore and taking them down some unknown roads leading to who knows where.
