I'm not saying people shouldn't have been angry about the 731 reference. They absolutely had every right to be. Unit 731 is one of the darkest chapters in history and if that reference was made carelessly, then yes, people deserved an apology and an explanation.

But explain to me how Valko became the sacrificial lamb here.

Who exactly does this help? The people who were hurt by the reference? They still deserve accountability.

The people who were excited for Valko? Congratulations, you just told them to go fuck themselves.

The developers who spent who knows how long creating an entirely new LI? Their work gets deleted overnight.

So what was the goal here?

Because this doesn't feel like taking responsibility. It feels like corporate damage control.

Fix the story.

Rewrite the chapter.

Delete the offending reference.

Delay the release.

Fire whoever thought using 731 and 611 was acceptable if you have to.

But deleting an ENTIRE CHARACTER because of a mistake in ONE PART OF THE GAME is such an absurd overreaction that I genuinely can't wrap my head around it. I'm just so unbelievably disappointed. because Infold's response was somehow even worse than the original mistake.

We lost a character.

The developers lost their work.

The fandom lost something people had been excited about. What an absolute fucking waste.

idk what demon did the inflop sold their soul to land the gold mine that is sylus's creative team but i hope they get chance to expand his lore more, with how they add callbacks in the event chaps, they can itchign to tell his story, hope the management gets replaced and and they can actually work on his stories again because i dont want any other character, only him, no one else compares~

Do you guys ever think during sex, Sylus pauses and looks down at your face, his smirk on display, his hair sticking to his face with sweat, red ruling his face and ears, and he says some where the lines of, "It's unfair you can't witness this, kitten." Now before you can understand what riddle he's brewing, you've been lifted up. Air blows cold kisses on your sweaty body as he carries you away.

Unable to form words, but you still try to retaliate with your hands, a feeble attempt. All you get is a smug giant man with red glowing eyes refusing to move till you look at yourself in the mirror. Your gaze lands on the reflection, flustered and so close to being undone, you choke a whine. All that earns are vibrations of millions in the air with a bite on your neck. You moan. His hands start exploring you while his mouth is busy with your neck, every movement from him curated meticulously to unravel you. It's too much to bear. You force your eyes to meet his in the mirror while your legs tremble for balance, and he has the audacity to just smile. He peppers kisses on your back and whispers, more of a gasp really, good girl. Only then does he finally resume where he left off......
