Ah ha! So he really is only hearing what he wants to hear! Tail flicking irritably at this revelation, the chu merely rolls his eyes again and sighs heavily. Honestly, what was stopping him from just getting up and leaving right now? It's not like Salem was threatening him into staying a minion; he was just obnoxiously persistent and mildly irritating.

Wha...so it's not about him being somebody's hero? Then what the heck was Salem goin' on about? An eye ridge would raise momentarily in confusion before noticing the other move. Finally! As soon as Salem's off his back, Thor immediately stands up on all fours and stretches.

He then rears back on his hind feet, snarky response at the tip of his tongue—'oh and I'm sure it was cause of your winning personality'— but finds himself stopping short with a blink, he registers the rest of his words. "Eh? A trick? Why would you think someone liking you is a trick?"

"Exactly what I said!" And Thor would respond in kind, but his tone being far more exasperated. "You're not the boss of me! Jeeze, it's like everything I say goes in one ear and out the other with you." He has to be doing this on purpose, or the imp really was just so full of himself that he truly believed the things he was saying.

What the heck was he even talking about... did Salem not know what a crush was? Did he think he was asking for a fight? Thor finds himself blinking slowly at the imp's words, then he lets out a loud peal of laughter that makes his entire frame shake. "Pfft, haha! Not that kind of crush, the other kind! Don't you know what a crush is? You never had someone like you before?"

As Salem keeps going, the rodent hums thoughtfully as he mulls over his words. "Oh, I think I get what you're sayin'!" He's had those kinds of feelings before, but it had been towards the Raichu that had helped him and his sister out back when he'd been a Pichu. "You're talking about being someone's hero or something, right? Well, not sorry to disappoint you, but I don't really care about stuff like that."

Thor didn't discriminate when it came to partners, but him, interested in Salem? Pssh when Grumpig's fly!
