I first read this book when I was 16, and have probably reread it a dozen times in the last five years. I can not for the life of me find much fan content for this book I love so much, so I have decided to make it.

She shouldn't *actually* be very short
since her dad is like 6'5"
But I imagine her at like 5'5"
And she has a middle tone brown skin

She also has very curly hair
Not tight spirals, but it's voluminous
and it's just dark

Is this a good time to share that when I read Love And Other Words by Christina Lauren, my Elliott Petropoulos looks like Water Boy from Dispatch? I first read it in 2022– Water Boy on my TikTok was a JUMP SCARE.

There’s no way this isn’t a pattern, with s1 being Luther’s hyperfixation, s2 being Diego’s, and s3 being Allison’s. Like what could Klaus be so hyperfixated on that it puts them through a season worth of shit? Like is he going to struggle with mortality, now that they seem to be in a powerless timeline/dimension? It seems like we’ve been immediately introduced to the trauma/hyperfixation, that will drive the Hargreeves’ to shit, within the first moments of the first episode. Like I could’ve told you Allison was going to be pissed about Claire and Ray before s3 even started; what if there have been clues about Klaus already?! I’m so excited, my mind cannot focus 🧘♀️
Okay, new analysis incoming because season 4 came out a WHILE ago and I just rediscovered this post. (Thanks for blowing it up!)
Why I think I was right:
This season confronts much of what Klaus’s plot purpose has been so far: glue between the siblings, a symbol of life and death, and the means through which we see Ben. So of course, the season also features a Ben storyline. I think it’s quite fitting the plot ends with this sort of pattern where it led up to the siblings whose plots center around death. Because the whole thing dies: the whole story, their whole existence. And they do it together, all the siblings. Klaus always seemed to have a way of getting along with everyone and bringing them together and that happened here.
Also there’s the obvious point, which is that he struggles with the sobering confrontation of mortality.
Why I was not right:
This season clearly does not hint at a fifth one about five, a sixth one about Ben, or seventh one about Viktor. So, maybe the pattern was always a coincidence. It sure is fun to ponder though!
