honestly? i have no idea what i'm doing but welcome! this is my journey of learning different coding languages, how to make better graphics, and possibly even art.

honestly? i really really liked these, but i could never figure out how to well... continue them? a problem i have with design is making everything flow ya know? i want to make everything cohesive with a set nice design that flows seamlessly together. but that's pretty difficult tbh out of all of these three, i still haven't figured out a particular... style persay, a trademark that'll have people going "oh look! that's salt's work!" and i don't know if i ever will ya know? i'm a pretty scattered person, i like all sorts of styles and things and well yeah. also, the divinity skin? a friend helped me with that, it has a hover effect, the main background is gray but i'm bad w/ hovers so they helped spruce it up. but i really like headers/banners that aren't a typical shape? like i love circles and diamons and triangles and other geometrics that aren't rectangles or full screen or squares -- but those are easier to work with

when i first attempted to skin a forum, it was in sept. 2018 - as you can see, this is a complete hot mess. i wanted to do a harvest moon inspired site but... i ended up using a premade because i was overly ambitious and gave up waaaay too early. i mean, my design is clunky but wowza, looking back at this? this was the farthest i've ever gotten into a skin... well... ever as you can see, i cried over this. i only worked on this for like a week and a half? maybe less, maybe more? don't really recall - but it was a short span. looking back though, i'd definitely take more time or well, attempt to stop changing my mind so much through the design process. i wish i had stuck with it and finished it - i still have most of the original coding but, damn bro. i sucked - but hey! learning process.

currently, i have thirteen tabs open on my laptop while i make this first post - i had twelve, but i opened another just to have thirteen which is a good number, let me tell you.  anywho.   

hi! my name is salt. i am far from perfect. i created this blog, in part because someone i look up to noticed me via and anonymous ask and also in part because i need to get my life under control. i'm not a very organized person, i'm a scatterbrain really. i'm generally unreliable but i've decided i want to change that and actually make moves to change that. so, here i am. making a blog where i will show my progress coding, writing wise, drawing, photography, graphics, all sorts of things dealing with art! because when i grow up, i want to be a jack of all trades. but mostly, here - i will showcase mainly coding, graphics, and sobbing pathetically. i hope you enjoy this chaotic mess, thank you. love you, bye!
