A rare snowy night in Darkmoor.
Things from the ET sequel novel, The Book of the Green Planet, that have to do with ET Adventure:
Almost everything on the Green Planet is a living plant, including their light sources, furniture and their houses themselves. ET's house in the last scene of the ride is a giant gourd
Before coming to Earth, ET was a highly respected Doctor of Botany, but he gets demoted to farmer as soon as his ship picks him up
ET's magic healing touch is not unique to him at all. It's something his species gains when they complete "acts of great wisdom" and he got his when he finished his doctorate
Botanicus is personally responsible for thousands of new plant species and for half the planet's food supply. All ten of his fingers have the magic touch. He also has a pet lizard
ET's species lives for millions of years. It's entirely possible that the baby ETs in the ride are actually several hundred years old
Tickli Moot-Moot and Magdol are names of plant species, not individuals
Magdol is also known as The Sulking Beauty. The species lives in a special field for difficult plants because it won't bloom unless you sing to it
The planet is watched over by the Contentment Monitors, cloud-like beings whose job it is to ensure everyone is happy. If you're sad, they'll talk with you or do silly tricks to cheer you up
ET's telepathy is a learned skill and you have to take specific college classes to be allowed to use it
SPOILERS: at the end ET is headed back to Earth, though he probably won't be in contact with Elliott at all. This makes the ride a very satisfying sequel to the book because you get the payoff of ET saving his planet and having everyone glad to see him again when you bring him back on the ride. Not only that but ET is public enemy #1 on the Green Planet because of everything he did to get back to Earth, so it's even funnier that they're going "hey we fucked it all, come back please".
Also the book ends with him being chased by a fleet of starcruisers from the planet's capital city as he tries to leave. This man has lived on 2 planets and has fled capture by the government on BOTH.
Adding: since Botanicus has lost his glowing fingers but ET hasn't, we can assume that whatever is killing the Green Planet only affects those who are living there at the time. So the only reason ET still has his healing touch that saves the planet is because he escaped and went back to Earth. The Green Planet government owes him a nice big apology for that one.
The Dark Universe segment of Celestial Goodnight should have a massive oversized firework right over Frankenstein Manor followed by the sound of Ygor screaming

Plants of Darkmoor ft this little lizard I saw chilling in the graveyard
Things about Monsters Unchained that I find really funny, a list that turned out much longer than I anticipated so I added a cut
-Gill-man being set free with the other monsters but he's aquatic so all he can do is just kinda flail around in his tank
-You like Boris Karloff Frankenstein? Good news, if you go on this ride you can see his corpse
-"these two just don't get along" in response to a death threat
-all the vampires being barefoot for (seemingly) no reason
-Dracula's shoes being for sale in the gift shop along with an urn, a skull, and a half-empty decanter of booze
-Ygor hacking and wheezing in the preshow
-Frankenstein 2.0 looking balefully into the security camera in the final Ygor scene as if to say "mom come pick me up"
- the underlined capital letters "PEPPER SPRAY" in Victoria's notes on vampire anatomy
-"you did nothing wrong, you old fool" and "how quaint" written on the chalkboards in response to Henry being torn apart by regret
-the book Henry owned that's just called "The Literature Book"
-the circled "Ms. Frankenstein" on the burning newspaper that you know drove Victoria into an apoplectic rage
-the concept of placing your portrait higher than someone else's to assert dominance
-Phantom and Quasimodo literally just chilling and Phantom providing dramatic music to set the mood
-the existence of the fire organ
-Phantom and Quasimodo being portrayed with scary ass drawings in the queue only for them to be just two Guys when you see them
-Victoria's drawings of the female monsters being beautiful and the male monsters' drawings being scary. I Know What You Are
-Ygor saying "don't touch the Doctor's stuff!" over the speakers when we were literally invited into her house
-Dracula getting vibe checked by Frankenstein 2.0's daylight beam
-the ride ending not with the traditional Universal ride "good job you saved the day" but with "get out of my house"
-the fact that someone (Dracula?) graffitied Victoria's wall calling her a monster and she somehow hasn't noticed
-the special big whisky glass for the 3 year old child to drink booze from
-Ygor having beef with the 3 year old child for literally no reason known to us
-Victoria saying "I'll join you in the catacombs" to the people who have stayed behind in the preshow to stare at her
