The thing is, I don't believe that I can ...  I had his attention before you came along, but that's just the problem.  If his attention strayed from me at all, then I'm not really the one that he's entirely set on having.

Because it isn't as if he wasn't aware that it's mutual.  It wasn't much of a matter of 'well, he won't ever like me, I should be moving on.'

So, you're probably the better choice, because despite his interest in me, it ended up on you as well.

Perhaps just my opinion and maybe one everyone will chalk up to being terrible, but it stands to logic.

It's a kazoo.  Or whatever humans call it, I'm not entirely certain but I believe that is the word that I'm looking for currently.

... Sooo, to double your efforts, it should theoretically take you four seconds to complete this drawing.  I mean, giving you the WEEKS that you've had, I'd expect a masterpiece by now.  Tsk tsk, W.  Come on, now.  (I know the feeling some days; and I have a feeling someone with a close connection to me knows this very well on a more personal level.  What a strange inkling, I can't think of anyone ...)

Double negatives are always amusing, but I meant in general.  Overall.  I think the joke that I had in there went entirely over the wall, but oh well.  Never mind that.  Another time, another day. In any case, I'm certainly right about that.  I know it because I personally experience it.

Everyone I speak with has their own.  Thank my OCD and need for order beyond keeping everyone's posts in order with their URLs and such.  Plus I have a very terrible memory actually, and so I write down notes about near literally every conversation I ever have.  Tavros has seen a few of them, from the past.  You can ask him, they're all ridiculous.

I don't recall anything being decided yet, and I don't see where he said his choice was me.

I do not currently have a matesprit, and I doubt I'll be getting one tonight.  He needs more than a matter of minutes to think this over, as it is a very serious matter, and he is rightfully distressed being in a situation I'm certain he didn't want to be in thanks to nosy inquiries on anon that could have been asked one on one off of it where he could respond privately and give himself better pacing to consider his options.

Further discussion on either side won't help him to make his decision, nor will it make it any more or less favorable for anyone, so I literally see no reason to have sent this, to be quite forward.

That note, then ...  I'm just typing it up, since I assume you would like to read it.  Should you want the actual note, you're welcome to come get it from me, though I ask if you do that ... not to laugh at the fact I ended up writing it in quirk.  ... While I may find the whole thing to be childish, a quirk is one's self identity, and even if I do not type with it anymore, I thought it was more ... personal that way.

It's alm9st ridicul9us h9w glad I am that we've met, and I feel stupid f9r n9t making the time t9 see y9u 9n the h9lidays.  Since the first time I've cele6rated them, human traditi9ns 9r n9t, I've always cele6rated them and I tried t9 spend the time with th9se I cherish m9st.  6ut unf9rtunately, as it stands currently, I d9n't think I'll even 6e with my m9irail f9r either 9f the up and c9ming h9lidays, and I d9n't thin y9u'll get this n9te until after 69th 9f them, and I ap9l9gize f9r that.

I h9pe h9wever y9u spend y9ur time that y9u enj9y the passing days.  If I can sneak 9ver and curl up with y9u when I get hive, I'll 6e sure t9.  ... We'll see if y9u're ar9und f9r me t9 d9 that.  If n9t, then we'll have t9 make up f9r that at a later date.

... I certainly have my interest ...  And it's not exactly easy to step out of this race without any sort of a fight, but ...  as I did state, she is able to offer you more attention than I am ...  and I sort of suspected from the very beginning, back when you invited her over to my hive ...  that she may be interested.  Or that you would be in her.

It wasn't something I wanted to come along, as every time there's even a slight bit of competition, I never fair well in the race anymore, but it was something I thought of, and ...  while not expecting it, I did leave a little room for the opportunity to arise.

And, well ...  I'm not happy to bow out.  But I can see that it may be most beneficial to your interests long term ...  And I'm certain it would make her happy, as well ...  it isn't the first time I've had to forfeit a quadrant, and I'm certain it's far from the last, so ...

... ... Feelings happen.  Interests come along ...  And I believe the saying is, ' love sometimes requires letting go ' ... or something to that affect ... ...
