I often miss Tumblr and miss being a part of the few discord communities I used to hang out in.. but unfortunately as it turns out running your own extremely expensive client based business is incredibly time and energy consuming, especially when you have a progressive disability 🙃

#i have no interest in making new friends but #i do miss what i like to call my “buddies”#people i spoke to and played games with in groups who I got along with very well #we were never close enough to really be considered friends #but we sure as fuck weren't just acquaintances #i miss talking in discord chats and vcs and playing Minecraft and being around other strange queer people who really accepted me #i have one close friend group and a few random close friends and i adore them #but i miss feeling community yknow #i miss having the time and energy to just #turn up #the only time i ever miss not being self employed is when I remember how much easier it was to turn up for things #i wish I could participate in the communities I'm in like i used to #i loved the time i spent with the people there #i just cant do it anymore with how much i always have on my plate #i hope everyone is doing well though #maybe someday things will get easier and i can reconnect a bit with the people i liked talking to #but for now i must work and rest and work some more #and then rest some more because oof ouch my bones my joints oh no
