Kol scoffed and nodded his head, he slid his hands into his jean’s pockets. “I’m a childish and idiotic person who thinks, you, Samara, are worth it. I don’t give a damn if you don’t care, but I do care.” He exclaimed at the girl. Boy, he could be handling this situation a lot more better than this. “Oh wow, Samara, have you ever thought about letting someone in for once? If I am not an asshole like you claimed a few minutes ago, you could let me in. Fuck Samara, why do you have to do this? Things could be normal! I’m not a fucking ass that goes around using girls. Do you really think I would do anything to purposely hurt you or your family? No. Stop being so stubborn and just listen and let someone in for once. It’s okay to cry and talk things out. You aren’t the only one with problems in their life. I know you don’t want help, but damn it Sam, I want to help even if you don’t need it. I’m here for you. Is that such a hard concept to grasp? Do you want me to spell it out for you?”
“Of course I’ve thought about letting people in, Kol! I have! Would I do it? Sure, why not again? But, we said from the absolute start, asshole, sex, and strictly sex.” Her expression hardened, balling her fists by her sides, nails creating crescents at the bases of her palms. “Why don’t you let it run through your head that I don’t need you, as much as you want me to need you. I can do all this shit myself and I don’t want help from anyone, especially you. Noelle doesn’t need you, Jasper doesn’t need you, I don’t need you,” she spat, turning away from him once again. It did pain her to say it, as much as she hated to admit it to even herself. There were nothing but lies leaving her lips. By this point, a single tear in her eye had freed itself and ran down her cheek. Samara was unable to keep up the act any longer, and her head ducked down to look at the floor, wiping at her eyes once again. “Fuck, Kol,” the brunette muttered, and her voice shook in the slightest, shaking her head, “I know you’re not a bad guy. It’s just that---God, sorry, all of this is so complicated, okay?”
