Romance plotline idea: Character A gets isekai-ed into a show, except they never watched said show outside of watching the occasional interesting-looking scene as they passed by the TV while Character B was watching it. Character B on the other hand is OBSESSED with this show - they've followed its progress since day one, and talk about it whenever they get the chance.

Problem is, this show had a sad/badly written ending that ruined Character B's whole year when it was released. It was so bad their mental health took a nose dive, and Character A couldn't make themselves understand how/why a fictional story was affecting Character B so much. Eventually, this disconnect ended with them breaking up.

Character A decides to try and 'fix' the show so they can hopefully get back together but in order to stay in character and not ruin the show in the process, they have to rely on what they can remember from Character B's rambles. The ones they only half-paid attention to (or completely tuned out of sometimes) due to disinterest.

Over the course of the story, Character A gets more and more attached to the characters, and also gets more and more guilty every time they find themselves not able to quite recall the information from Character A's rambles.

The story ends with Characters A and B getting back together, not because the show now had a good ending, but because Character A was able to have a better understanding of their partner.

This could be super heartfelt or really fucking funny depending on what show (and character they're isekai-ed into) you're imagining this as.

I've been spending some time at my aunt and uncle's ranch recently and being around so many different animals (horses, cows, dogs, chickens) after spending over a decade owning cats just puts into perspective how cats are treated in comparison to other domesticated animals.

Like all the animals have specific jobs, and with the bigger animals its important that they know you're in charge so they don't end up really injuring you, and with dogs its good for them to be well trained. Chickens are pretty ignorable until you need something from them and you essentially just force them to do whatever. And adding on to that, if these animals can't do their jobs and/or are super aggressive, they'll probably be put down or given away or something.

But with cats its just like...yeah that's Bazooka. He wandered in here one day and kept showing up when we fed him. He'll probably rip your face off if you dare to pet him. No, we're not going to kill him or chase him off the property or otherwise do anything to train him, what's wrong with you? Look at his little face.
