Hey dudes! Here's my second attempt at using GTA V for my animations, with its process along the way :) It took me a little longer than I expected, but whatever, it was a lot of fun to do and i learned tons of things (mostly the hard way). I've been picturing images for this song since the first time I've heard it, years ago. Didn't really end up the way I envisionned in my head for so long, but I feel a bit lighter now. I want to do others, there's a ton more where that came from, don't know when I'll find the time though! I just found out about Grand Theft Auto V's director mode, which lets you place the camera wherever you want in scenes you previoulsy recorded. I was wondering what it would look like if I incorporated some 2d animation on top, so I did a test! (Yup, I'm just giving myself a reason to make a Laura/Logan fanart animation even though I'm super busy <3 )

Hellow! Here’s another background I did for my Tha Trickaz animation. I decided to put it quite late in the production, if you look at the clip the guys were just supposed to fall down facing the emptiness of the sky. Part of me knew something would be missing, part of me knew I never did that kind of rich cityscape before and was scared of it, part of me knew I was just being lazy (and tired of working on the rest of the animation) but, as always, the part of me that is perfectionist and looooves to inflict himself with pain won.  I had to document the thing so I’ve also done a timelapsed process of the thing, hope you’ll like it!  (the full animation here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRJvJPnh_sY)

I recently had the chance to collaborate with Tha Trickaz, a French DJ duo, for the announcement teaser of their new album : CLOUD CITY. 

I have been eyeing at these guys for years, dying to work with them, I thought their music suited my artstyle like nothing else, and they’ve been inspiring me a lot. 

But I was shy, and not that confident in my art, until one day i decided : ENOUGH. Et voilà. I’m still shy and not that confident, BUT now I’ve got this. Our little piece of video!  It’s been a lot of work (thus my absence from social media these past few months), having to do every little step by myself, but worth it.

Just to say that if you have a dream goal, but you’re holding back because you’re not sure wether or not you would be able achieve it, I’ve got one piece of advice : JUST DO IT.  I’ll post some work in progress, backgrounds, rough animations, little candies and whatnot on the days to come, so stay tuned!
