obsessed with the way that here Dean isn't actually lashing out at Sam (he is, that's not the point) it's just the closest he can get to lashing out at John, but ALSO he's using the SAME language he uses to try to manipulate and control Sam, reinforce that Sam wanting anything out of line of what he (or John, usually) wants is selfishness. Sam is the target no matter what he does but also. What Dean's saying is that what John's been doing this entire time is selfish. he's upset about that. and that part is right.
