I often say "Grace, Simon and Chell were all unwillingly signed up for something by a woman who was thinking about the bigger picture" but GLaDOS really doesn't gaf, she just wanted to throw Chell around like a ragdoll in those tests

I firmly believe Rocky would have a conniption seeing the SM-13 even before it was initially sent down. Just from an engineering standpoint. Like, "What do you mean you have to weld and unwell every time?! Make a hatch! Put a door on it! You added a window, surly you can figure out how to add a door!" Or, "You made a research vessel (which is technically what the ship is) with no way to grab anything??? Even Rocky’s ship has a grab arm and that was just for convenience!" "Look at this thing! Does it look like a battering ram to you?! Are you trying to wreck it on purpose?!" "Sure, lets leave all the wiring and important piping uncovered so it can be easily hit and damaged. Great idea."

Look me in the eye and tell me Rocky, a world class genius engineer, wouldn't see the SM-13 and think it was an abominable piece of garbage.
