MiniWebEdit - Episode One - My Travels From Here To There...
Lets be having this swell on film this time! Mini clips coming soon... looking like a head high wave for a Wednesday morning!, super Hyped!
Early morning surf at Croyde North Devon, it's been pumping all week! due to the back swell from a hurricane, theres A new swell heading in for mid next week, can't wait! Heading down for a filming session... Photography by the lovley Rosie Blair.
Found this little gem forgot all about this session in Flaine France, kicker, Wall gap to drop.
After a epic day on the glacier Snowboarding and riding skidoos, We headed down to the apartment on the SE coast, where we where treated to a Harty lunch prepped by non other than Arthur Lockhart aka TenBears. After we trotted off for a walk to try and take some lifestyle photos. We had to be careful as we where advised by locals to stay clear of the Icelandic terns that where nesting around where we where staying. The locals said they can dive at your head to protect there young as they are very territorial birds. And can be very aggressive. It was the fist night in Iceland and the sun did not set that night, very surreal coulors! This picture was taken around 1AM!
London Ski Show, London Olympia
Wile working at the show I was involved with this crazy bunch, that’s me on the left before winning a race, duck running with a snowboard on! lots of fun I was up against Craig from WhiteLines Snowboard magazine who struggled to keep up after the Westbeach party in London the previous night…
Stop Motion Title...
Some stop motion today... Playing with titles, this is a sample Frame From around 500 photos.
Over The Rainbow Magic
Avoriaz French Alps... ...Lip-slide over the rainbow to a pot of gold!
Backcountry, Portes Du Soleil, France This kicker took a good while to build, but it was well worth it. We got the BBQ going, popped some tunes on and started shovelling perfect snow blocks into a awesome looking wedge to gap. Roshambo, and I lost so went up first, I came up short, the in-run was so bumpy, so we sorted that out and kept catching sky I ended the session with putting down a BS 900 and a double barrel so was stoked! We spent a fun few hours killing this kicker, got the photos we wanted then headed to a bar for a well deserved drink! One Epic Day.com
I Zipped down to a little secret surf spot in Devon in the last few days... its a rock reef so had too be a bit careful! I surf here often, but still end up having issues with rocks on most trips. It's the first time that I have driven my car down here, the 3 mile track is usually un passable in the winter. I usually park up and walk in. Also theres no phone signal for about 3 miles all the way to the beach, not really a good place too go on your own. Surf was good when I rocked up, pushing tide light winds, clean 3f all to myself it's hard too find a perfect little wave with no one around in the summer.
Trek around snowy Bristol! Dean Lane skatepark Bedminster, Filton Bowl, and Horfield skatepark. Scraping snow from the floor to get a rideable surface was a tall order in the city, but I got it done! Bristol rarely get substantial snowfall
Always like a good kickflip!
Small little line at Croyde Bay in Devon with the #GoPro Hero3 Black, it’s a good camera but make sure if you’re heading into the water with one of theses that you get a floaty, As I didn’t and lost mine in the sea. I’ll be back with a new one when I have saved the penny’s
Icelandic mini ramp skateboard sessions at 2Am with Myself, Oystein Dyrli from Norway, and photographer Lorenz Holder from Munich. It was snowing lightly! So the wooden ramp was super slippery. Lorenz flash box worked really well in theses photos! Big thanks to Lorenz for shooting theses photos of Oystein and I that morning as it was so very cold! Lorenz is best photographer that I have had the pleasure of being photographed by.
