I was going to go sign a contract and induct into The Air Force National Guard a few years ago.

And right before I was due to sign papers– this story popped up on my dash and I began to have anxiety coupled with heart gripping pain in my neck and shoulder, and I absolutely could not do it, even if I wanted to. Because I knew….

I don’t even know what to say. I didn’t then, and I don’t now. I just know that, that will never be a place. For me, or anyone else. I’m glad I trusted my instincts, and I pray her family gets justice, as well as those who assaulted and abused her. It still sickens me, to this day.
