Yeh HR ek office mein karta kya hai? Like baas emotional support deta hai kya? Usko computer skills aane chahiye? Conversational skills bhi chahiye honge kya? 😭😭😭
I will be honest, I haven't watched most of his interviews yet, primarily because the interviewers have been incompetent, the questions repetitive, boring, lengthy etc.
The interviewer in this is bubbly, personable, intelligent, fun without going over the top or loud, while being a good listener. She put Danish at ease and was kind. There was laughter and it felt like a conversation between friends more than an interview.
She genuinely likes him and did her research on him, made the effort to prepare and ask him interesting questions. For someone so young and bubbly, she is a good interviewer and especially in the entertainment space.
They surprisingly covered a broad-range of topics - from his dream roles, to life philosophy and even world peace , all under 30 minutes. You know he really appreciated the interview.
It was comprehensive, personal without getting intrusive, fun without being vapid or superficial. This one actually gave me an insight into his personality and mind. He opened up and was great at bantering while dropping a few pearls of wisdom.
Umm..so this was a wip for idk for a month and i was lost asfff! Thodu Thodu thanks to my lovely Girlies<3

Chapter 1
TERA KAMRA MERA 😈
It was an exquisitely serene afternoon at the Rangi household. With the patriarch of the family away managing his duties at the Ministry, the sun-dappled garden became a sanctuary of domestic peace. Mumma Rangi was tenderly massaging nourishing oil into the thick hair of eleven-year-old Jaskirat, whose thoughts were already drifting far beyond their beautiful lawn.
Just a few feet away on the lush grass sat little Jasleen, entirely absorbed in her own world. She was aggressively staging a rather passionate romantic melodrama with her dolls, forcing their plastic faces together in a sequence of vigorous kisses.
The tranquil rustle of leaves was abruptly shattered by a sharp, resonant hoot. A magnificent brown owl spiraled down from the canopy, clutching a thick parchment letter in its beak. Without slowing down, the creature unceremoniously jettisoned its cargo, dropping it squarely onto Jassi’s face with practiced, almost spiteful precision.
"Mumm-" Jassi rubbed his face grumpy, "isko badal kyun nhi rahe ho! Merese alag hi dushmani hai iis ullu ko!" He ranted while glaring at the flying owl. "Ye teshri baar hai-" but he was cut off by a sigh "Teri behen phir kaand kiya hoga."
However, as Mumma Rangi’s eyes flicked over the heavy parchment, her breath hitched. The unmistakable, elegant crest of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry gleamed back at her. Breaking the wax seal with trembling fingers, she began to read the contents in a breathless, reverent silence.
Meanwhile, Jassi turned his attention back to his sister's chaotic playtime, thoroughly unimpressed. "Mein jab bol raha tha wo ladke wala barbie le le, tab kyun nhi liya.." Jassi muttered to his very focused sister who was busy building the Barbie family which consists of two Barbies and three small random dolls.
Jasleen didn't even look up from her intricate arrangement. "Mujhe nahi chahiye koi ladka wadka—"
"JASSIII!!!"
The sudden, ecstatic shriek startled them both. They looked up to their mother clutching the letter to her chest almost jumping happily. "Hayee mera Jassi!!" Mumma Rangi hugged a very confused Jaskirat who side eyed his sister.
Jasleen looked confused too but soon her expression turned into knowing one, she smirked "abb tera kamra mera" and made face so evil even devil would shy away.
"Matlab?—"
Before he could demand an explanation, the front gate burst open with a deafening rattle. There stood a boy, practically vibrating with uncontainable exhilaration.
"JASSI KE BACCHE DE MEIN AUR TU JAN RAHE HAN HOGWARTS!!! OYE BALE BALEEE!!!" And ran towards Jaskirat with full force, Jasleen who watching the fire ball running, slightly put her leg forward to trip the annoying kid.
The laws of physics took over instantly. As expected the boy who was running one second was now on the floor.
"Jsi" came out muffled voice, Mumma rangi sighed "we have to go wand shopping now...and your robes are need to be given to the aunty-" She immediately began rambling, her mind racing through an endless checklist of books, cauldrons, and tailoring schedules.
Jassi, still trapped in a state of catatonic shock, felt a hand frantically waving inches from his nose, attempting to shatter his trance. "Bhaiya tu Tut Gaya kya..?" Jasleen looked at her brother, Gurbaaz got up dusting his shirt and walked towards the duo.
"Oye yaara! De mein aur tu-"
"Han Bhai samajh aa gaya uskoo!" Jasleen let out annoyed glaring at boy. Gurbaaz just pouted looked back at Jassi.
The reality of the situation finally penetrated Jassi's mind, bringing a heavy wave of anxiety with it. "House ki tension hai mujhe..." Jassi let out finally.
Jasleen and Pinda looked at eachother, now concerned. Recognizing his sudden dread, his sister tried to offer a rare moment of comfort. "Bhai dekh I'm sure aunty or uncle ko ye sab cheez se koi—"
"Abee Mummy Papa chod! Mujhe Harleen di ko wrong prove karna hai! Mein Ravenclaw Jake rahunga! Wo Harleen Di ne mera jeen haram—"
The momentary sisterly sympathy evaporated instantly. Jasleen rolled her eyes and picked up her dolls, "whatever atleast I'm getting you room!" She sassed and walked away to her mother.
Jassi rolled his eyes and looked at Pinda, who looking at him with a done look. "Yaara tujhe pata tera Ravenclaw vich nhi lagna si, namak swaad anusar aur sapne aukaat anusaar—"
Finally, the monumental day arrived. It was the exact moment Jaskirat had been dreaming about since the ripe age of eight, back when he first discovered the dazzling secrets of the wizarding world. Standing on the bustling platform of King's Cross Station, surrounded by steam and magical chatter, he felt like he was walking on air. A magnificent journey awaited him, brimming with the promise of adventure—
"Apni chadiyan dhona! Yahan wahan phek mat dena! Samjha!" His mother fussed while fixing his sweater.
He rolled his eyes "Mumma yaar—"
"Kya mumma yaar! ek kaam bataiyo jo tereko dhang se aati ho! Kuch Ghar mein kaam bolo toh 'mUmMA yWaAr' shuru ho jata hai tum sab ka" His mother scolded while looking her children.
Harleen, who was meticulously organizing her tote bag, looked up offended, "Yaar ye daant plural mein kyun badal gayi, aur wese bhi iss nikame ko kuch nhi aata toh me kya karun!" She defended.
Sensing that this domestic bickering would never end, Jassi bored looked around the station and observed as other parents fussed over their children. Amidst the sea of moving families, a girl nearby caught his attention entirely. She was speaking rapidly to her mother in a lyrical, frantic Bengali dialect: "hein maa kheye nebo! Ish maa banglay daini bole er maane ashole thodi thake—" Jaskirat just stared at her mesmerized.
*Smack!*
"Oye usko tad ta reh, yahan train chut janni hai!" Harleen slapped the back of Jassi's head boarded on the train.
Rubbing the sore spot, Jassi grumped and touched his parents feet, seeking their blessings in traditional fashion. Mumma Rangi and Papa Rangi smiled and gave him their blessings.
"Aata hun maa" he smiled excited and boarded on the train.
"Apna khyal rakhiyo!" Mumma Rangi shouted one last time.
"Han Han rakh lungaaa!" Jassi screamed as the gate closed.
The train's whistle bellowed loudly through the station as the crimson engine slowly lurched forward. Jassi quickly found a window to wave to his parents, watching as his mother dissolved into soft tears while his father lovingly held her side to comfort her. Right beside them stood little Jasleen, her arms crossed with a victorious smirk.
'tera room meraaaa' she mouthed as hugged her mother's leg.
Jassi just just rolled his eyes and started walking inside the train, he only saw the train from outside, so he was full of energy to explore it. He also tried to find his sister but it was not use as he knew she busy with friends and would definitely not let him sit with her.
Navigating the narrow, luggage-choked corridors, Jassi was looking around here and there when he bumped into dark brown haired girl.
"Sorry I didn't see" she looked absolutely guilty and apologized.
"No it's alright! I was also distracted." Jassi brushed it off.
"I'm Divya! Divya Bhoi. And your.."
"I'm Jaskirat Singh Rangi." Jassi introduced himself proudly.
Divya nodded smiling gently, "you seem alone..wanna come and sit with my friends." She offered giddy. "They are really welcoming i promise!" Divya added, seeing his hesitation.
Jassi nodded signed her to lead the way. They walked through the crowded corridor, and finally reached a compartment. Divya knocked on the door, only for the door to slide open by the same girl Jaskirat saw on the station.
The girl smiled brightly, her warm eyes landing on Jaskirat. She turned to Divya, gesturing her to introduce him. "Oh he! He's Jaskirat Singh Rangi. I bumped into him while coming back from the washroom, and i thought maybe he could sit with us!"
"Jaskirat this is vii! We are family friends."
Jaskirat nodded still looking at the station girl infront of him, "come inside!" Vii invited him warmly.
They entered the compartment, it was cozy and smelled like old wood and sweets.
"Oh i see we have guests!" Divya clapped her hands as she saw another new face.
"She's Sam Madan! I met her a while ago I was kind of lost, hehe." Vii said while taking a seat beside Jaskirat.
"Hi Sam!" Divya waved excitedly.
Sam put down her book and looked up smiling gently. She patted the space beside her, which Divya took immediately. "I've been so excited for today, i couldn't even sleep last night." Sam said giddyly.
"Yeah..tho it was bit overwhelming, I was also really excited..." Jassi added, finally getting a bit comfortable.
"Can't say the same about us.." Vii said, sharing a knowing smile with Divya.
"What do you mean?" Sam asked confused.
"We are muggles..? That's what you call the normal people right..?" Divya answered quit unsure.
"Oh so you guys muggle born witches?" Sam answered catching up.
"Yes!" Vii chimmed folding up her legs on the seat.
Jassi’s inner curiosity completely overrode his shyness. "How did you guys find out that you were witches? How did your parents react? I've heard muggles freak out! Did your parents freak out too? And how did you guys get into Hogwarts—" Jassi asked all excitedly, he was new to this concept. He never met muggle borns, except of hearing about them.
"Well calm down!" Vii cut him off, while Divya laughed.
"they are normal like you and me. Chill." Sam replied, giggling at him.
Jassi just scratched the back of his head, his cheeks getting red.
Before they could continue, the compartment door flew open, "can I have seat— Oye jassi yaara tu?!" Pinda stood there at the entrance. "Mein tujhe pure train mein dhundh raha tha, but then i gave up."
The three girls just stared at the guy who just appeared out of nowhere. Jassi cleared his throat, clearly embarrassed by his friends behaviour. "He is my best friend Gurbaaz Singh."
"Hi Gurbaaz!" Vii and Sam waved at him, inviting him inside, Pinda immediately taking a seat beside Divya. "Agli baar bata ke jana!" He mock warned Jassi.
He then pulled out some chocolates, offering them towards the new people, "you guys want some chocolates?" He asked, Sam immediately took one, her favourite fairy dust flavour. Vii was hesitant but took the unicorn breath flavoured one.
Pinda then turned towards Divya, who was unusual quit. He offered her rose flavour one, which she took and put it in her pocket. Pinda just smiled and popped one chocolate into his mouth. "What were you guys talking about?"
"Vii and Divya are muggle born witches!" Jassi annouced the information excited.
"Well I've got more exciting and interesting News!" Pinda smirked.
"What!! Tell me!!" Jassi clapped his hands impatiently.
"We've got Harry Potter this year!"
"HAWWW!" Sam gasped.
"Shut up!" Jassi clutched his pearls.
"I wish I was kidding!" Pinda exclaimed, "wait who's Harry —" Divya was about to ask "you don't know Harry Potter?" Jassi asked almost offended.
"No...?" Vii answered having really bad FOMO.
"I'll explain! I'll explain!!" Sam jumped clapping her hands dramatically. "A decade ago...you know who attacked —"
"We don't know who...?" Vii pried, "Abe yaar..." Pinda whined, which earned a glare and a slap by Jassi, that immediately hit him up.
"Ok so few years ago there was a boy named Tom riddle..? I don't know i heard it from my parents." Sam shrugged. "He was dark magic practitioner, pure blood supremacist. He wanted to be immortal. We don't say his name as everyone thinks it brings bad luck and it also summons him."
"Ohhhh"
"Yeah, Harry is said to be the one to escaped death, as he was attacked by..you know who's... death spell." Both Divya and Vii were fascinated and at the same time uneased by the story.
"Woah.." that was the only reaction they could give, they didn't know how to react with the said information.
Sam understood and decided to change the conversation, "well boys! I'll be taking the girls to the washroom as we need to change into our robes. We'll see you?" And got up taking her robes whole leading the girls, Vii and Divya took the chance and followed.
"That must be bit too much to take for them." Jassi whispered as his eyes followed Vii, who was walking away.
"Yeah... They are new to all this. Well you know I met this know it all girl, who was searching for a frog—" Pinda again got distracted, while Jassi just sighed.
