Aight I made a sanders sides group chat for artists/people that really enjoy the art this fandom puts out so let's see how that goes.

That way it might be easier to find other creators, share work with people, just get to know some more cool people in the fandom better, do collab or art trades etc. Also I love every single artist in this fandom and I want to know more

oh my goodness thank you for explaining the thing with deceit, i was so confused and no one would explain it to me. i think i get it now, that’s a really valid point. i’m sorry, i meant no malice, i just wanted to know. so many people just completely hate deceit and whenever i ask why they held such animosity and they’d just say that he was evil, giving nothing further.

It’s no problem and yeah I don’t hate Deciet and I never really got why some hate him but I respect that.

And Fanders please don’t be jerks when someone asks why you don’t like Deciet because some are generally confused like anon is and they deserve to know why.

Remember education is powerful, educate those who ask, don’t tell what it is but explain why you do feel that way. That can build mutual understanding of different points.

no ships with deceit? he isn’t evil, like patton said, his goal is literally just survival. he tells lies. that’s all. he hasn’t done anything illegal. fanders have put him in such a negative light even though he hasn’t really done anything. “he’s a dark side!! he’s bad!” didn’t roman say that he just made up that name on the spot bc it sounded cool? deceit isn’t a bad guy. so many people give him a hard time and what has he done to warrant that? nothing. he’s done his job—lies. i don’t get it.

I’m going to try to explain this as calmly as possible and without being too argumentative.

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear:  I do not hate Deciet. He’s a very interesting character concept and I agree Deciet can be good, I have to lie for survival all the time. I also dislike the name “Dark Sides” as it gives the wrong idea since Deciet is morally gray at times. (Few things are black and white in this life)

But Deciet the character could not be in a healthy relationship by default. He chooses to lie all the time. And every type of healthy relationship (platonic or romantic) must be built on honesty. (The relationship that I lie in isn’t the best it could be as they are jerks and I need to lie to make sure I have a good life until I can get out. That isn’t healthy and I would never claim it to be.)

And don’t tell me he has no choice, when Patton bumps into him while Patton enters in “Can Lying Be Good?” Deciet says “Ow that hurt!….I mean that didn’t hurt.” He accidentally said the truth and then quickly cover ups. 

Also “he tells lies. that’s all. he hasn’t done anything illegal” Lying isn’t illegal, your right. Doesn’t make it okay. 

By your logic. Cheating? Perfectly fine, not illegal. Abusing alcohol? Completely okay. (And I’m talking about repeated binge drinking at your house or bar, not DUI or things of that nature)

From your comment about lying I assume that you haven’t been in an relationship (platonic or romantic) with someone who lies all the time. I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you don’t know what it like to be lied to all the time to the point you don’t know the truth anymore. I’ve been lied to so much so please forgive me f I have no time for Deciet ships. 

TL;DR: Relationships with him are inherently toxic, so no we do not accept prompts with him in a healthy relationship with anyone.

So yes there is why we don’t support any ships with Deciet.

deceit is growing on me as a character, but i still would not ship him with anyone. let the mods run the blog as they will. you can find someone else to take your prompts.

As just a general question as you said that positions are already filled, but does 'all Sanders Sides ships' include those with Deceit?

That post was made before he became canon hence why I felt comfortable saying “All Sander Sides Ships”

Because of personal morals of mine, prompts with his ships aren’t accepted EXCEPT prompts involving one of the leaving him/and or recovering after leaving an abusive relationship with him.

You must be a fan of Sander Sides

Must be respectful to all Fanders

Your English must be good. (It doesn’t have to be perfect, as mine is far from that, but it needs to be passible.)

You must have at least one other mean of contacting you. Email or Discord is preferred.

You must be comfortable with all Sander Sides ships. I’m not requiring that you ship them, but if a ship makes you uncomfortable this would NOT be a job for you.

You must learn the proper way to tag on this blog and I’m telling you now. It can be annoying.

Preferences

These are things that I would like in a fellow mod, but if you do not meet one of these you can still be considered.

This blog excepts prompts with triggering content, of common triggers are harmful to you, that is nothing to be ashamed off, but it may be better if you don’t apply.

Have a Discord account. I am making a Discord channel and I would like to have every mod as a member.

Be good at using/posting/organizing on Tumblr. You can better your skills and learn obviously but it would be better if you already had some skills.
