Virgil choosing to wear purple after he's been accepted has been complete redefined for me after the newest episode. What do you mean Virgil had the choice to redefine himself however he wanted after he left the dark sides and he chose to define himself by the color that symbolized his own happiness.

And that's why Janus and Remus are so surprised when they see Virgil's new outfit. Virgil, closed off, emotionally reserved, completely miserable Virgil, letting the world see his emotions so openly.

the sanders sides fandom is and always has been a blast because it's a setting in which no ships will ever be canon, ever. and you'd think that would bring down the mood but instead it's created a "fuck it, we ball" energy the likes of which no other fandom i've seen has been able to replicate since

I actually love that they made Logan reach an obviously bad and flawed conclusion. He is, after all, Thomas' logic. He's not omnipresent or all knowing and he is, understandably, biased. He reaches the conclusions that seem logical to THOMAS. So it make perfect sense that he would be wrong.

You know, there is something very, idk, comforting? About the fact that Remus is clearly Thomas' sexual attraction and Roman is his romantic attraction.

As an asexual person who is still unclear about both attractions even after almost 10 years of identifying as ace and who is still questioning her romantic orientation, it's kinda helpful to see them separated visually like that.

I feel like it is a lot like separating anxiety or even morality and logic. Separating them and giving them a persona so you can better understand what affects what and who is in control of what. It is what I have always liked about Sanders Sides and I deeply appreciate Thomas and co. for clearly showing that distinction between the two attractions even without spelling it out.

Obviously those attractions look different for everybody and Roman and Remus encompass only what those look like for Thomas. But it could still serve as a way of explaining to an allo person (or even a confused, curious baby ace or aro) that hey, this is an example of a difference between sexual and romantic attraction. The new video alone showcases it perfectly.

It is just a neat little thing and also explains why I connect more with Roman than Remus. I like it a lot.
