these are just sketch practices for some like, concepts of what he could have. I wanted to incorporate his sash and gold accents as much as i could. if you can’t tell, i believe in Roman with Boots supremacy lol

does anyone else miss the orange side. like. i don't know the guy, we haven't met him, but sometimes i miss him. he feels like a friend i havent met. i yearn for him. he makes me emotional. hes included in fanart and fanfiction and theories and he's not even here. he's thought about and loved and hes not even here!

Ok but like. The concept of patton's role is just. Fundamentally so fucked up.

He's the inner child and the inner parent at the same time. He's their paragon of innocence but he's also their strict moral compass. He's in charge of thomas's long-term memory- his nostalgia, his regrets, his longing for the past. He's the embodiment of all of thomas's emotions, good and bad. He's both the source of and subject to thomas's overwhelming sense of guilt. He's the man upstairs but he's just your dad knocking on your bedroom door but he's also the teary eyed kid who's kneeling at his bed and telling god that he's sorry.

virgil and roman who arent really ready about being open about the relationship

roman loves relationships and pda but dating another side when they are facets of thomas is kind a thing they both realize may be a bit strange

but they gay and so theyre kissing in closet and suchs

and so one day theyre making out in the closet in the stairs, and logan opens the door and in the split second of the doorknob twisting, roman falls to his knees, takes out his sword, put its between his armpit, summons a bit of fake blood and virgil panicking, takes the other end of the sword

logan opens the door to roman being "stabbed" and dramatically playing out a death, virgil looking absolutely shocked and horrified between roman and logan and

logan just raises an eyebrow at the two, grabs whatever he opened the closet for and slowly exits

bonus points if he fully knows they making out and is like what in the foreplay is this

extra bonus point if all the sides already figured out they were together so an added hell of what the hell is this

Whenever I draw the sides I have to figure out if I wanna draw them as the same guy with different hair/accessories or give them each a totally unique design, cause both ways are really fun. Went with the latter this time around!

things accepted within the sanders sides fandom that i'm not even sure thomas know about

1. "the commons." WE know what the commons is. you are all thinking of it. i doubt thomas would know what it was if he ever read a sasi fic

2. The Imagination. we made that up

3. the sides' rooms having doors/bonus points if you include the commonly used hallway setup found in many a sasi fic.

4. building off of the last one, the fact that in fics their rooms are bedrooms instead of the established canon that it takes the form of wherever cthomas is currently present and encapsulates that ENTIRE space, and exists outside of where we see it end

5. "roman prince and virgil storm" logan and patton's last names usually have a lot of differentiations but these are by far the most common full names for virgil and roman in human aus

I love some of the collective fanon that this fandom has. Some others...

6. King Creativity/Romulus as a person who existed before the twins (and the Split as a single cataclysmic event in general).

7. The "Dark Side" as a separate place in the mind, with its own commons and hallways, often but not always located in the basement.

8. Ducking out as a form of/allegory of suicide. Like, I'm pretty sure in canon it was treated more like Virgil was quitting the team.

9. The Dragon Witch as a being that is both significant and still alive and just exists in the Imagination and may sometimes have a significant amount of power within it.

10. The Imagination being split physically into different halves belonging to Roman and Remus, and each of them having their own castle.

11. All dark sides, not just Janus, having animal traits. Remus has the kraken in his iconography, and Virgil likes spiders, but there's nothing in canon that suggests more than that.

12. Roman having green eyes and Remus having red eyes.

13. Janus is cold-blooded and sheds. (It's considered canon now, but it was in the fanon a long time before that.)

14. Janus having *cough*...other serpentine traits. If you know you know.

18. Virgil's favorite band being My Chemical Romance even tho he's said in a video that is canon/leans more canon than not that his favorite band is Evanescence

19. Virgil still has the dyed purple hair

20. Janus has blonde hair
