TW: workplace abus and implied pokemon cruelty

Sato was up extremely late, working on some DNA samples for a project he was working on, eyes felt heavy, cut hands with dried blood on them, the air was thickly tinted in smoke from stress smoking, and hair in a awkward ponytail thing, he was exhausted, he hasn't been on rotomblr lately cause of work, which was unfortunate honestly, he leaned his body weight onto the wall next to him, closing his eyes and almost drifting off, he heard The door open with a familiar voice...

" heyya sato! You workin' hard or hard'ley workin'? Tchah! "

That obnoxious degrading voice of the one only leader of team static punk, brandy barben, the boss sat his ass down on the counter and dimming a cigarette on satos head, the young man responded

" w-...working hard, I guess...what did you need?.. "

" ooooh nothing! Well, except a small favor, pawnface.. "

Brandy said, her tone almost turns ominous, her large cocky grin never leaving though...

A shiver went down satos spine at this, staring brandy straight in the eyes they respond

" oh what is it now? You son of a-"

Brandy takes out a small test tube full of some kind of purple dust, twirling it between his fingers, they tossed it over to sato suddenly, which he frantically caught, giggling a bit at the scientists reaction, brandy said in a hum

" oh ya know, just a little R to boost up our feature friend's power.. "

" do...how did you get this?...

Sato said, before continuing

" one huff of this can make a Pokemon go absolutely feral, and I don't know what it would do to WHATEVER freak of nature I'm making, are you crazy?! "

Brandy slammed a fist down at his tone, grabbing sato by the collar and lifting him up slightly, brandy spat

" I know, sato, but it's a risk WE are willing to take, you're good at your job and you won't fuck it up, right? "

The young man trembled, pure fear flooding his system, gazing away from brandys eyes, they nodded their head and responded once More

" ye....yes boss... "

" good! "

Brandy put sato down, taking a cigarette from the counter and lighting it, she said as she walked out

" I trust you won't disappoint! Buddy! can't wait to see the results when we get the big bird! Byeeee- "

wh- OH, nonono, I-I didn't hurt myself, if that's what you're worried about!!! Like I said, it was just an injury from a couple months ago that was botherin' me. The hoodie's more comfortable to wear than my school uniform when it hurts like that, so I just put the hoodie on. Softer texture that doesn't rub against it as coarsely, y'know?

Portal Mail!

It's a small portal that opens up next to Sato's desk. A pair of hands reach out of it, placing a box of 12 red velvet creamcakes and a cup of coffee down, before quickly going back into the portal, which closes as soon as the arms retreated inside.
