She supposed she couldn’t take away her choice.. and she could always choose this once more should she not like what the other woman said. After several moments of contemplative silence.. She finally took a step away from the cliff and looked at the other woman.  “..A superior being.. How could you offer that..? What would you offer me..?” She was listening at the very least. 

Ah, so she had the girl’s attention now. Good. Persephone assumed this one might be a lot of work, but the woman had her fair share of experience handling fledglings. 

As Dez inquired about the offer, Persephone’s smile grew.

“Well, I do hope you aren’t averse to the sight of blood?” Squeamish vamps were a pain.

“Tell me, do you believe in the supernatural? Vampires, to be exact.” While most media got it wrong, there were still stories about her kind. Surely this girl knew of some of them.

“You were ready to throw your life away, are you willing to give it to be reborn better than before?”

How sorrowful to witness such a weak creature at its lowest point. Persephone had little regard for the lives of humans, but there were better answers to such a problem.

“Wouldn’t you rather start over and live a better life, be a superior being that can no longer be oppressed?”
