hi, do you have any suggestions for someone looking to get into the tma rp community?

I only have oc blogs so I'm gonna give you advice for that. If you want to rp a canon character just send another ask and I'll have tumblr answer for me.

First off is, obviously, to have an oc you want to roleplay. You can take an existing character and slap a Fear on it, or make a completely new one.

Next, make a blog for them. An easily recognizable handle and a themed aesthetic for your blog helps people immediately understand certain things about your character.

Then, make an intro post. I am BEGGING you to use plain text, and add IDs to any images you use. Keep things screenreader accessible in the "audio only" fandom. FFS. You should include your character's name, pronouns, association with the fears, relationship to the institute (if applicable), what season you're on, and personal boundaries. Additional information about your character is also a good idea.

Make tags to separate in-character posting and rp, if applicable. You can use generic tags or make your own.

This is something I personally do for my blogs, and I think it makes a lot of sense, so I don't know why other blogs don't do this: Make a RP chain tag for each new RP chain you do. This makes it easy for people to block specific rps they don't want to see, or go and find a specific one they were interested in looking at.

For example: "#black sand rp", "#ostara rp"

And finally, you must first interact with other blogs if you want other blogs to interact with you! People won't be able to find you until they see you in the wild.

False alarm guys, auditions are open again!!

Since my last post I have come to a realization that we actually have wayyy more roles open. So um…I’m reopening auditions!! Yeyyy…

If you don’t know, me and some of my friends are making a musical adaptation of the Magnus Archives and we’re holding auditions over tumblr and other spaces.
