Watching Naruto finally and people weren’t exaggerating these two are gay as hell
LMAO ok I still don’t know how tumblr works but uhhhh another old artwork I did :3
will start drawing new things soon….
my widdle ninjas :’(
I love Sasuke's 699 monologue so much. He traveled with others and met people along the way yet the only person he individuated was Naruto. Naruto was on his mind and in his heart as he journeyed across the world. Like you would never know that Sasuke traveled with others (after chasing ensued) if not for another character being used as an exposition device. Sasuke's POV was entirely Naruto-centric.
da lovers
them being all domestic and cute
Just came back from reading people's comments on a certain Japanese bl drama and realised how different the fandom is compared to the manga of the same drama.
People who read the manga are generally more aware (and have a better understanding) of the internalised struggle an lgbtq+ person goes through than the ones who simply watch the drama. Seeing the comments of people trying to sound morally righteous without even bothering to understand the nuances and the depth of a human mind deep in self hatred and misery made me sick. I feel like they're simply here for kisses and the stimulation, and anything that even touches on their so-called boundaries or makes them question things, get ignored, or, in the worst case, get totally misinterpreted. Like, do these people know that humans don't exist in black and white? Have they ever tried to think why that person made that choice, or did that act before judging them? What's the difference between them and the people who condemn lgbtq+ people?
Simply watching a bl show doesn't instantly make you into a fair person.
You think you're a supporter of lgbtq+ but you can't even offer compassion to a person who was just trying to figure out how to live because no one ever told them it was okay to be different. (Mind you, that person didn't commit any crime, and neither did they affect anyone in a negative way, both emotionally and physically).
Japanese bl manga has a far better (and understanding) fandom than the Chinese, Thai, and Korean. Though the fans of danmei novels do come close, many of them are still stuck into the stupid stereotypes of top and bottom. Even though bl manga fandom too is filled with many idiots, from what I've observed, they're a little better. This is just what I've observed over the years. I may be wrong, though.
But I have come to strongly believe that bl manga shouldn't get turned into drama because they end up attracting posers and fake moralists. I get that seeing your favourite manga turn into a drama may excite people (not me though, I hate all type of adaptations especially live actions), but the downside of it isn't worth it for me.
(Personal opinion. You may differ.)

Konan combat analysis
Konan is one of the most underrated and underused characters in Naruto, with one of the best backstories(alongside my fav boi Nagato) and one of the most unique skillset.
She is one of the strongest kunoichis in the series, stronger than the likes of popular female characters and she has the ability to fly, something which no other kunoichi, not even powerhouses like Tsunade and Mei Terumi have.
She is also one of the very few characters in the series who have developed their own personalised strength, rooting from their passion. This post discusses Konan's criminally underrated abilities:
Dance of the Shikigami:
式紙の舞 (Shikigami no Mai)
Konan is able to transform her body into hundreds of sheets of paper which she can control upon will and harden even further so than steel. Because of her ability to disperse whenever needed, it’s especially difficult for opponents to land a hit on her and actually cause any damage.
By converting her chakra into paper, Konan transforms her body (and clothing) into numerous sheets of paper; the initial creation and dispersal of the paper can mesmerise opponents.
Paper drizzle
紙手裏剣 (Kami Shuriken)
Konan then controls and shapes the paper into various things, such as spears for attack. Kami shuriken is a technique that consists of using chakra to harden and shape paper into shuriken. The user can increase the power of the shuriken as when Konan combined it with Nagato's Wind Release: Gale Palm, speeding up the shuriken and enabling them to pierce the body further.
Konan can fold the paper shuriken into different shapes, including the normal four-pointed star shape and a more kunai-like shape. In the manga, the latter shape does not spin like a shuriken. In the anime, the shuriken spin regardless of shape.
Paper clone 紙分身 (Kami Bunshin)
A technique which employs the use of Konan's ability to manipulate the shape and colour of her paper by forming it into one or more replicas of herself. When a clone is hit, it will merely turn back into sheets of paper. If need be, Konan can conceal explosive tagswithin her paper clones to allow for a deadly surprise attack.
She can also use origami butterflies for spying, and clones for supplementary purposes. She can create paper wings on her back to fly (though she can hover without them) and use them to fire paper in rapid succession.
She can wrap her target in paper, restricting their movements and asphyxiating them.
Konan was also able to produce and fold enough paper to mimic environmental surroundings, such as a giant tree that she used for Nagato's base of operations.
Durability
Konan is durable. Despite being composed of paper, her attacks are immune to water and fire. This was indicated when she took one of Jiraiya’s oil-enhanced fire techniques head on and showed no sign of injury whatsoever:
Explosive Tags (起爆札, Kibaku Fuda
are scraps of paper inscribed with a special writing, centering around the kanji for "explode" (爆, baku). Infused with chakra, they will explode after a set amount of time, remotely, or after being ignited by flame.
Speed
Konan has been shown to be very quick and nimble. Konan can increase her speed by making Paper Wings on her back that allow her to fly in the air. Her paper wings are also surprisingly durable and can make Konan go at incredible speeds making it easy for her to dodge attacks aimed at her. She has also shown to have a quick reaction time that makes her very good at dodging attacks.
Intelligence
Konan had a very keen intellect as she was able to quickly understand the process and reason behind the hop in, hop out system Jiraiya had created for them and could study Tobi's space-time techniques, accurately deciphering how they worked and then did countless simulations in order to find the perfect way to kill.
Limitations
Konan's paper is vulnerable in the same ways as normal paper: fire will burn it away and oil will cause it to stick together, preventing her from manipulating it.
Paper Person of God Technique
神の紙者の術 (Kami no Shisha no Jutsu)
Konan disguises six hundred billion explosive tags as the surrounding scenery, be it earth or water, with enough sophistication that even the Sharingan cannot see through it.
600 billion paper bombs!!
When the target is in position, Konan causes the scenery to split in half, resulting in the rapid creation of a huge abyss beneath the target. Due to the sudden lack of any available foothold, the target inevitably descends ever deeper into the depths of the chasm. As the target falls, Konan guides the explosive tags to stick to their body and detonate, with six hundred billion being enough for ten minutes of consecutive explosions — more than enough to counter the five minute time limit on Obito Uchiha's intangibility.
She nearly did kill Obito, who only survived because of Izanagi.
Befitting her title as Angel (天使, Tenshi), she was able to form paper wings on her back. This allowed her to fly (though she was able to hover without them.
Konan is truly one hell of a ninja, with traits adept for combat, spying, retrieving and dispersing intel. One of the most dangerous combatants in Narutoverse, she is one hell of a character with the coolest abilities, developed all on her own by her passion for origami.
All hail paper godess, Konan of Akatsuki!
Long time no SNS!
Not sure if it’s right to let them wear rainbows.
But anyway, it’s pride month. I do what I want ;)
I've never fallen from quite this high…

to kill the one you love
Half of the reason I'm so obsessed with Naruto manga is because of sns and their intense bond. But the other half is because somewhere between those characters, I recognised myself.
It wouldn't be wrong to say that Naruto (manga) affirmed my way of living, my feelings, and my existence.
I felt seen.
I found relief in their struggle against life (though it might be quite selfish of me).
I've been doing some self reflection lately, you see.
I don’t understand people who say “Naruto and Sasuke don’t love each other because they never told the other such words”.
Some time ago, someone was arguing with me about intentionality, and if I remember correctly they were saying that because Naruto and Sasuke never said I love you’s or Kishimoto never said “Sasuke loved Naruto” (vise versa correct) then all romantic sub text is invalid, or the reading of romance between them is, too, invalid.
And I was like…. huh?
Sasuke and Naruto’s whole relationship is exclusivity. They read each other’s heart. They fight to achieve that and only they can do that to the other. Naruto affected Sasuke’s heart, and so did Sasuke to Naruto. Sasuke’s Sharingan evolved and unlocked for Naruto. Naruto gave up his ultimate dream of becoming Hokage so he wouldn’t be separated from Sasuke. Naruto had a “heart attack” (hyperventilated) prior because he realized that everyone was planning on killing Sasuke. Naruto begged for his life. Naruto showed devotion so deep that had all of Orochimaru, Kabuto, Sakura, Kakashi, Jiraya, Sai, Itachi himself and Sasuke shocked. Kishi uses both of show and tell to demonstrate the “heart” between them, so much so that the English translation had to tone it down everytime it was mentioned. Sasuke’s letter was about his heart and Naruto, the end was their hearts both finally revealed. All that and you still need an “I love you”? They talk about hearts so much you don’t even need “love you” it’s understood😭
