tonynap vs dreamnap childhood friends to lovers are very different in my brain

because dreamnap childhood friends to lovers is very much at its best (TO ME) when the yearning and pining is at the forefront of their relationship.

they understand each other best, probably better than they know theirselves yes—

but also they just barely miss each other when it comes to getting on the same page or confronting each others feelings and i eat that up

AND ON THE OTHER HAND tonynap is very much a steady and slow path, it just makes sense to them.

there is no “will they, won’t they” or fireworks moment revelation, it come easy to the two of them, and i like to think these two would have a better time handling communication.

tonynap is a very secure ship, they skip through those tense anxious moments of wondering if the other wants them. i also eat this up.
