One of my coworkers is trans, and one of the kids we work with asked him why he had a high voice. When told that it was just his voice, the kid responded, “Oh yea some boys have girl voices. Like Michael Jackson.”
I was wondering if you had any advice on coming out when having a really religious family. I came out for the first time as a lesbian to my friend this month but I'm scared to come out to my family, especially my mom. They're constantly saying homophobic things and I know that they don't agree with the LGBTQ+ community so I'm not sure if it's worth coming out. I think that they would still love me but I'm not sure if they would ever fully accept me. I'm just really conflicted. Thanks in advance.
Coming out should be for you. Ultimately, you can only come out when and how you feel is right. However, I do have some advice you are free to take. First, if you are planning on coming out to anyone make sure you are safe. Have a backup plan, prepare yourself to deal with acceptation and rejection, and if you have someone you can trust, tell them what you are planning to do. They can pump you up, be your emotional support, and come to your rescue if you are unsafe/uncomfortable. If you are worried about your parents’ reactions, don’t give them a chance to respond until you’ve said everything you need to say. At least that way, they will hear all your points. Spend some time thinking about why you want to come out, and decide if that’s a good enough reason for you. If you need any further advice/someone to talk to, shoot me a message!
I just had a wonderful thought. GIRLS
Big mood
I came out as a lesbian yesterday and everyone was supportive and urgh I love being gay! I’m a free elf
Congratulations dude!!! I’m so happy for you!!
Let’s all take a moment to appreciate sapphics who live in abusive households. They are so strong, and they deserve some love
Girls are so awesome. They’re so smart and talented I just love them 😍
it’s june 1st and i’ve acknowledged the fact that i could be a LESBIAN after uncomfortably trying to convince myself i’m just bi. don’t think i can come out but in starting to feel a weight coming off my shoulders.
I’m so happy that you are starting to understand yourself! If you are a lesbian, whoo! Me too! Congrats! Lovely! Perfect! If you’re not, that’s great too! Amazing! Astounding!
Either way you still get to love girls which is AWESOME
In honor of pride month I figured I should come out as a bisexual girl today!! You are the first person I have told!!thank you for giving me courage🏳️🌈💛
Yay!!! Thank you so much for coming out to me! I’m so proud of you! I’m sending lots of pride month love your way!
How to celebrate pride month:
- paint yourself in rainbows

- forget straight people exist
- talk to a cute girl
- kiss a cute girl
- get a new cat
- put rainbow collar on new cat
Happy Pride Month!!
Happy pride to lesbians 🌈

Happy pride to all sapphics! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Sapphic culture is staring at every lesbian couple you see and trying not to look homophobic
So I was so happy to see a cute happy lesbian couple in my mid-sized town that I secretly bought them drinks. Is that creepy or just so gay, or both?
I think that’s a gay move my dude. Support your local lesbians
This friend that I used to have (we haven't talked in like, a year) messaged me asking if the girl on my snap story was my gf. I told her she was just my friend, to which she replied, "But you're a lesbian, how do you have female friends?"
Straight people are exhausting
If you ever feel bad just remember that wlw of color exist and you'll feel better
Attention to all girls who are brave enough to ask out other girls:
HOW DO YOU DO THAT PLEASE TEACH ME IM LONELY
