“It would not surprise me,” Hen cuts him off, mercifully. Chim can’t seem to look her in the eye so she follows his eyeline to the gym. Eddie’s the only thing there, pumping a couple hundred pounds of iron in a dark gray tank top. “Oh,” she slams her locker door shut. “I do not want to hear this.”
“I – wha’!” He scoffs, turning fully to her with his arms out in shock. “Hen! You’re being totally homophobic right now!”
Hen turns towards the door, palm up behind her. “I’m not doing this with you right now, Howie!”
“Bi-phobic!” Chim counters, a finger in the air between them. “You can’t stand the idea of me appreciating a hot guy then going home to my smokin’ wife!”
“I don’t know what spell that man has cast on you all,” she says with a small laugh, waving her hand and chancing a look back at Chim. He’s dropped like a sad puppy, eyebrows turned inward and his mouth pinched in a half-frown half-angry grimace.
Chim scuffs his shoe on the floor. “I think it’s the mustache, Hen.”
“Hm,” she hums. “It’s bewitched you.”
“Body and soul,” he whispers, looking down at his palms.
Hen hitches her bag up her shoulder and sighs. “Karen said the same thing. Both of you are unbelievable.”
“Come on, Hen - I mean, the werewolf costume?” He glances around, lowers his voice. “Did you even see?”
“See what?” Buck pops up behind Chim, warm from the showers.
Scares the shit out of Chim, who scrambles a bit away and starts working on the buttons of his shirt in the world’s lamest attempt at escaping the conversation at hand. “Nothing! Just – taxes!”
“He’s in here waxing poetry about Eddie in his werewolf costume.” Hen rolls her eyes and gestures to Chim, ends with a little smack on her thigh and one low laugh-huff.
“Oh.” Buck replies – then – he’s quiet. They both look up to see a blush on his cheeks, face turned away and seemingly lost in thought.
Hen swings open the locker room door. “Goodbye!”
“So,” Chim starts after a lengthy, purposeful silence. “I told you I’m bisexual too, right?”

ADDENDUM
This is by no means a comprehensive list, just things I've personally come across and researched as I went. Please feel free to add on it this!! I will be keeping this pinned and updating it with new info as it comes
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Cats have tiny lungs, so even if something is considered non-toxic you should never burn it around your cats. Any incense, herb bundles etc should only be burnt in a well ventilated room that is closed off to cats. Use non-burning methods wherever possible
Even if something is non-toxic, please ensure that it is safely stored and there are no chances of your cat ingesting large amounts of it. This may still make them ill and it's always best to be cautious.
Shit to Watch Out For If You're Interested in Magic:
The Rites Are The Rites - Closed practices are closed for a reason. Open practices are open for a reason. Learn those reasons. The history of magic is a messy and complicated thing, but learning will only enrich you. Remember, it is possible to learn about things without participating.
Magic Does Not Require Blood, Money, or Cruelty - Rarely, people will encourage unsanitary or dangerous practices. Don't get tetanus. Don't eat poisonous herbs. Bleeding and sickness are not necessary for magic. Be extremely wary of anyone who crosses established boundaries to ask for money, items, or services. Magic does not require money. Sometimes people are just bigoted assholes. Even if their information is good, you can likely get it from someone who isn't an asshole. Magic does not require cruelty.
Disease Is Not Occult - Your physical, mental, and psychological illnesses are not a gift from the gods. Magic cannot cure them. Take your meds. Listen to your doctor. If something about your practice fucks with your physical or mental health, stop immediately. No spell or religion is worth your physical and/or mental health.
There Are Gates, But No Keepers - Magic requires study, practice, and preparation. Its called a practice for a reason. There are best practices, common protocols, and traditions to be respected, but almost nothing is inherently required for magic. There are no deities or spirits you are required to contact, no drugs you are required to take, no books you are required to read.
The Paths Are Myriad - There is no "one path" or "true magic." Be wary of anyone proclaiming their ideas to be the One True Way forwards. Many rules are generally held by practitioners of all stripes, but very very few thing could be called universal. Paths twist and cross, none are inherently superior to another. Additionally, gods and spirits are not people, and summoners are not journalists. Personal conversations with deities are not a primary source.
